(Y/N) auditioned for JYP three days after the after-party, and was immediately offered a job as a company dancer in Chan's unit. The unit mainly did group competitions and with their new addition, were racking in more awards and fame than ever before. Due to the distance, she was forced to move to the other side of the land... but not alone of course.

Irene practically forced (Y/N) to find an apartment big enough to accommodate both of them, before Maya invited herself as well. Most four bedrooms were expensive so finding one was difficult at first, but things suddenly started falling into place out of the blue. Irene received a call from a famous designer, offering her a paid internship and Maya found a cute bookstore to work full time in the area. With a huge pay raise for all three girls, they found a cute, four-bedroom apartment to live in. All of this happening within three months after the party. They decided to decorate it in a warm vintage design, and bonding through the everything that was happening within what seemed like a breath.

(Six months after the After Party)

Every company, dancer, or dance obsessed fan was raving about JYP's new sweetheart that had beautiful lines and the stage presence of a goddess. There were times when she competed as a soloist and although she didn't win every single one, she left a lasting impression on everyone who watched. (Y/N) and Chan were official partners, anytime a duet was offered, it was them two who snatched it up and together, they never lost a competition.

In terms of her career, (Y/N) was the happiest and most successful she's ever been. Doing what she loved most and even choreographing occasionally.

Her relationship with Jin, however... she wished was just as happy. She tried her best to keep contact with him... text messages, little voice notes, selfies... but with becoming a new dancer with a new company, she never had time for anything. Leaving early and coming home late, every day, and on the weekends she tried to catch up on sleep. It would've been a very lonely lifestyle if she didn't have the girls. Jin constantly asked about seeing her, but she told him the truth in that there was no time, and he picked the most inconvenient times.

"I'm trying, I really am."

"I know... it's just hard. But I promised I would wait."

That was enough then...

(Ten months after the after-party)

Although her career was booming, (Y/N) was becoming more and more depressed as time passed. Chan as her partner, noticed she wasn't herself; not focused in practice and forgetting choreography nearly a week into a routine. He questioned her until she finally came clean, sobbing in his arms again. She had a competition coming up, and Jin was desperately trying to see her before it happened. She communicated the best she could, constantly telling him that right before a competition was the worst time to try and meet since Yoojin pushes the dancers to a ridiculous standard and was hard on them until he got the finished product he wanted. But, although Jin was understanding at first, he slowly became angry that she constantly put dance before him.

Maybe he was right, but after all that she's been through, doesn't she deserve to put herself first for once?

Despite all of it, she loved him, and she constantly reassured him that but...

He never said it back.

"If you don't want to see me, then just say so. You don't have to lie about it and say you're dancing all the time."
