The bar was crowded, faint music could be heard through out it. Strong, drunken, man holding beers in their hands were joking it up, as a depressed, black hooded Catra sat at the bar, with a small drink in her hand. She takes the finally sip of her drink, and wipes her mouth. Sliding the glass away, she pounds on the bar counter.
"Hey! Bar keep, another one!" She shouted as the bar tender slid her another glass. Another sip she took. Soon, after her first sip, a voice came from behind her.
"Hey Catra?" It was Scorpia. Without turning around, Catra greeted her.
"What do you want Scorpia?" She asked annoyed. "Can't you see I'm trying to drown my sorrows?" Scorpia gulped slightly, and spoke again in a near whisper, but loud enough so Catra could hear.
"I can see that, but I need to tell you something." Catra grunted and took another sip of her drink.
"By all means, Scorpia, go on ahead of interrupting my grief and tell me the, oh so important thing." Catra gritted her teeth, and took another sip of her drink.
"It's about tonight."
"What is so special about tonight, Scorpia?" Catra took another sip.
"It's a full moon out tonight, Catra." Catra's eyes widen, as she swallowed her drink hard. A small smirk soon appeared on her once depressed face.
"Is that so..?"
"Yeah," Scorpia began, "All the other cryptids know about it." Catra, without turning around could tell Scorpia was smiling.
"Good. Have them be ready for tonight." Catra's smirk soon turned into a full on smile.
"Just thinking about all that meat..." Catra licked her teeth. "The screams of the people, the blood dripping from my claws, and the torn flesh in my fangs."
"Catra?"
"Has it really been a month already?"
"Yes it has."
"It feels like forever ago. Finally, some good news." Catra stood up, and turned to Scorpia.
"You might want to tell the town's people this, Scorpia. They'll want to know that the were-beasts and other cryptids are coming out to play." Scorpia raised a brow.
"Why do you want your prey to know that you're coming?" Catra only smirked at the question.
"Cause. It makes it more... Thrilling so dis speak, and besides, there's always those few idiots who never listen. And those people, will be on the menu tonight." Scorpia nodded, not fulling understanding, but enough to know what Catra wanted.
"Now go! Tell them all! Shout it from the roof tops if you must, I don't care! Just do it!" Scorpia nodded and again, and left the bar, leaving Catra there by herself with her drink. She smiled at her drink and took another sip.

The town's streets were crowded with people. Children playing, mothers washing clothes in their front yards, fathers smoking with their friends, and teens of all ages cracking a cold drink and laughing. The thought of all their lives on the line made Scorpia's stomach turn. Granted, she was a were beast as well, that didn't mean she liked the thought of fresh meat like the others did. It made her sick. Warning the town's people was something she was thankful for being asked to do. Seeing a small crate close by, she picked it up, and brought it to the center of town, and stood upon it. Clearing her throat, she spoke loudly.
"TOWN'S PEOPLE OF BRIGHTMOON, I BRING YOU NEWS!" All the people stopped what they were doing, and walked over to where Scorpia was standing. Without much thought, Scorpia went on.
"TONIGHT IS A FULL MOON, AND ALL THE WEREBEASTS AND CRYPTIDS ALIKE ARE COMING OUT!" Some of the people gasped, awhile other looked terrified. Some of the children hid behind their mothers, awhile some of the men crackled their knuckles.
"KEEP ALL THE CHILDREN INSIDE! LOCK YOUR DOORS! KEEP THE WINDOWS CLOSED, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY..." There was a small pause, "DON'T GO OUTSIDE TONIGHT!" All of the people grabbed their children, and belongings, and quickly went inside their homes. The one's who didn't, grabbed weapons from their pockets, and sheds. Some grabbed boards, and boarded up their windows. Scorpia gave a sigh of relief, and went back to Catra, where she sat at the bar counter still drinking her drink.
"Did you do what I asked, Scorpia?"
"Yes ma'am," She smiled, "All is said and done." Catra smirked.
"Good."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Night fall soon came, faster than anyone expected. Down the empty streets, the two girls walked. Catra's bare feet slapped against the cold stone road, with Scorpia not too far behind. Catra took in a fresh breath of air, and sighed a happy sigh.
"You smell that, Scorpia?"
"Smell what?" Catra smirked.
"Pure fear."
'"Huh?" Catra wrapped her arm around Scorpia, and smiled.
"Just look around you! Look at all the buildings." Scorpia scanned her eyes over where Catra was pointing.
"Not a candle lit in sight. Not a sound to be heard. It's the perfect night for a hunt." Scorpia broke a cold sweat, as Catra removed her black hood.
"Are the others ready yet?"
"Oh they're already out!" Scorpia smiled.
"WHAT!?" Catra screamed in anger.
"Well yeah, they've been out for a few hours now. I thought you knew." Catra face palmed before smiling again.
"You know what? It doesn't matter. If they're already out, that's fine. But it's our turn now, Scorpia." Catra looked up at the sky, and saw the clouds passing over the full moon. Soon it was in clear sight. Catra smirked as she felt her skin grow fur. Her nails grew long and sharp, becoming blacken claws. Her face grew a small snout, and her teeth became fangs, thirsty for blood, and hungry for flesh. Her once white eyes turned fully yellow and blue, her pupils became slit and full of wild, and feral intentions. Her ears grew large, and folded up words, turning to large cat ears. The hair on her head grew longer, and darker in color. Going from a light brown, to a deep reddish brown. Her clothes torn and shredded, she fell to her knees. She looked up at the sky, and let out a large roar.
*ROOOOOOOOOOAR*
Scorpia smiled and soon joined in. Her fingers join together, and her once mighty hands grew longer, and became red pincers. Her clothes tear as a long scorpion tail grows from just below her back. Her shoulders grew spiky and red, growing into shoulder pads. Their transformations were complete. Catra looked back at Scorpia, her slit eyes widen slightly, as she smirked.
"You know what to do from here." Scorpia smiled and nodded.
"Then go!" Scorpia nodded again as Catra leaped into the air, and landed on all fours on a town building. With the pads on her paws, she run over each roof top, looking for prey, as she let out a large roar once again.
