Down the street the Royal family walked, King Micah, Queen Angella, and Princess Glimmer and Adora. The queen, and the two princesses each held their own lady umbrella as they walked.

"Chin up, girls." The queen whispered to the princesses.

"Yes mother." Glimmer replied. After a few miles of walking, Adora spoke up in a near whisper to Glimmer.

"Hey Glimmer?" She whispered, "Why do we carry these umbrellas around?" Glimmer looked back at Adora and smiled.

"It's the lady like thing to do for us." Adora nodded.

"Makes sense. I don't really mind it, I never really liked the sun light anyway, I was just wondering." Glimmer smiled again, and turned back to her mother. A few more feet they walked before Adora heard a sound.

"Psst! Hey, Princess!" Adora turned her head to see a robed Catra there, leaning on a building. Adora grunted.

"You again?"

"Nice seeing you too, Princess. Come here!" Adora grunted again, and walked over carefully to Catra.

"Catra, I shouldn't be talking to you, I can get into trouble."

"What, can't talk to me cause you're a princess, and I'm a peasant girl?" Catra smirked, with a sly grin on her freckled face. Adora blushed and grunted.

"That's not it at all."

"Then what is it?" Adora hissed, and pinned Catra to the wall she was leaning on.

"Cause you lied to me, Catra!" She spat, " You told me you wouldn't hurt any people, but I can see right through you! You're a liar!" Catra lowered her head for a moment before slowly lifting it again, laughing.

"You really like pinning me against stuff, is there something you're not telling me?" Adora banged her head against the wall.

"I'm not in the mood for your games, Catra. Not when people's lives were at stake." Catra frowned.

"I wasn't going to hurt anyone, all I was trying to do was help you." Adora grunted again, and let Catra up from the wall, and turned away.

"Well, great. You helped me," She turned back at Catra for a moment and narrowed her eyes, "And I don't need you now." Adora turns away again, and goes to walk back to her family. Catra laughed.

"What about when you get hungry again, huh? What then? You can't go back to the tavern without me there to protect your ass!" Adora stopped as Catra went on.

"You know you still need me, and I'll be here for you, Princess!" Adora lowered her head, and walked back to her family, still holding the umbrella over her head.

Adora opened her bed room door, and in the center of the room was a small wooden table, with a bottled of water with a rose in it, and besides that was wooden bowl of deep red liquid. Adora grunted and walked up to the table. There, she saw a little note stuck to the red rose. She pulled it off, and read what it said.

"Dear Adora,

I got you a little something, in case you got hungry.

Signed, Catra.

-Ps.

It's cow blood."

Adora growled, and stared at the bowl of blood. She picked it, and brought it to the window, but as soon as she was a bout to dump it out, her stomach growled, and a hunger pain struck her hard and fast. She held her stomach in pain, and brought the blood back in.
