"Good GOD it reeks in here! You'd expect a princess to have some class!"
"Says the girl trying to get some in my bathroom."
"Don't you at least have a butler or something?"
"Oh yes of course let me call him while I attempt to eat you out."
"You can be pretty annoying sometimes."
"So can you but it makes you easier to fuck."
"Speaking of which, how's that coming along?"
"If you don't shut up, you certainly won't be anytime soon." Evie sighed.
"I killed the mood, didn't I?" acknowledged Audrey.
"There was practically a 'mood' to begin with," the blue haired girl scoffed. She helped the pink princess down from the marble bathroom counter. Evie leaned on it in thought. "I don't know why you insisted on doing it in my bathroom of all places."
"Insisted? You carried me in here, okay? Your bed is right over there, I was just along for the ride until somebody pressed the shutdown switch."
"Jesus Christ Audrey, nothing is ever your fault is it?"
"Well I'm certainly not taking credit for your hideous outfit. You could've at least dressed up for me."
"Right, my bad, I forgot I have"—she remarked in a mocking tone, "class."
"You deserve to be fucked," Audrey snapped, jerking her head toward Evie's.
"But clearly you won't be responsible for that either. Too much to ask of the closeted lesbian."
"I'm bisexual," she corrected. "And I would never go down on a girl. I have too much class for that. People do me."
"I do you."
"People," Audrey corrected again. "You, yes, Uma, Jane, Mal. Chad once."
"You had sex with Mal?"
"Don't act so surprised. Hate fucking isn't just our thing." Evie's face almost became disappointed. "Aw don't pout, baby." Audrey gave Evie a peck on the lips.
"You hate me?" Audrey half chuckled at the question.
"I wouldn't quite call it love fucking."
"You didn't answer my question."
"No, Evies, I don't hate you." Her voice switched to a gentler tone. "I could never."
A slightly rosy color tickled the taller girl's cheeks. She looked at her shoes, then to Audrey before leaning in and kissing her full lips, simple curves she knew her way around just fine.
"I don't hate you either," Evie replied as her lips curled into a smile. She allowed her eyes to rest on Audrey's face, and Audrey's on hers. A knowing tension clouded the bathroom. They had been down this path before, it was beginning to feel like every time they would end this way. Standing, sitting, or laying in a peaceful silence.
"Evie!!" A call came from outside the room, likely in the hall outside the bedroom that connected to the blue princess's bathroom. "Evie!!" the voice called again, flustered and impatient. The bedroom door flung open without a moment's hesitation after there was no response to the second call. Evie gave Audrey an apologetic glance. She left the bathroom and mistress behind and approached the man.
"There you are!" He grabbed her hand.
"Sorry, Doug," she whispered, avoiding eye contact. Suspicious, he leaned his body to peer into the bathroom.
"What's she doing here?"
"Uh—"
"I came to borrow a makeup brush," Audrey lied quickly. The man relaxed his posture a bit in the presence of the house guest.
"Almost dinner time," he spoke to Evie in a low and abnormally polite manner. With a painful squeeze of his wife's hand, he left the women in a hurry without bothering to close the door.
Audrey cautiously walked over to Evie who's eyes remained fixated on her hand, beginning to turn red from the squeeze. The girl dressed in pink took Evie's hand in her own. She winced slightly its movement.
"He's cruel, Audrey," she peeped out. Audrey planted an empathetic and loving kiss on Evie's cheek, leaving a very light outline of nude lipstick.
In that moment, Doug poked his head through the doorway. His jaw tightened at the sight before him. He cleared his throat.
"I think it's time you go," he stated firmly, stepping inside.
"Doug—" Evie began softly.
"No!" he barked, startling both women. He shifted nervously. "My wife and I uh... need to have a discussion." Audrey looked to Evie for reassurance. She gave a simple nod.
With no choice, Audrey began to exit the room rather shamefully, her feet dragging on the hardwood. As she turned the corner to leave the couple, her eyes drifted back to Evie.
"I love you," Evie mouthed to her in the tense silence.
"I love you," Audrey mouthed back.
Doug whipped his head around and locked eyes with the mistress. With an exhale out his nose, he slammed the right bedroom door in Audrey's face and looked back at his wife in tears.
