Dallon got Brendon to eat some leftover pizza and drink some water after he woke up. Dallon didn't sleep, he just watched Brendon, scared that his short breaths were going to stop at any second.

The two lay on Dallon's bed, Brendon watching a show on the TV and Dallon just watching the boy, rubbing his back and giving him small kisses all over his face.

"Are you feeling any better darling?" He asks gently, Brendon shrugs. "I feel better now, yeah. Thanks."

Dallon nods and holds him closer, pressing his face into the boys silky hair.

"Can I have a cigarette?" Brendon asks, looking up into blue eyes, eyebrows raised.

"Sure, lets go out to the roof, yeah?" He nods, Dallon grabs a pack of cigarettes and a lighter and Brendon opens the window, bringing a blanket to protect them from the cold.

They sit in silence, Dallon handing one of the cigarettes to Brendon and holding the lighter up to it, causing the tip to glow red and begin to smoke.

Brendon takes a long drag and lets it out with a sigh, feeling content as the nicotine runs through his system.

"God, that's so much better than the vape." He says, taking another drag as Dallon lights his.

"It's so bad for us, yet it feels so good." Dallon tells him, smiling as the buzz starts hitting.

No more words are spoken between the two as they look at the stars, each laying down on the roof as they smoke.

They both have so much to say, so many more words to blurt out, too many jokes to tell. So many 'i love you's to share, but nothing is said.

Brendon wants to tell Dallon just how much he means to him, how he keeps him going through all of this, he wants to kiss him so bad. Brendon doesn't move. He barely breathes, only exhaling to release the smoke from his lungs.

Dallon stares up at the sky, wishing so badly to know everything going on in Brendon's head. He wants to give him everything. Wants to show him the world, help him live out every single dream, go through with any of his ideas, he just wants to hug him and kiss him.

They both don't move. Neither of them speak. The comfortable yet tense silence hanging thick in the air, suffocating them both.

"I love you." Brendon says, his voice barely above a whisper.

"I love you too, Brendon."
