Carol yawned as she stretched awakening from her slumber on the thin mattress in her jail cell, the sun shined through the bars leaving weird steaks on the floor whilst she raised from her bad and left the cell. Walking to the Grimes cell she hesitantly knocked on the bars waiting for a reply of the leader before she entered, after hearing his call to enter she did and set her sights on a shirtless Rick holding baby Judith in his arms as he smiled to the infant. Wearing a wide grin Carol approached the duo and sat on the bed next to him as she joined in the smiling at the baby making silly faces to hear the high pitched laughter from the baby.

Carefully she accepted the baby off of Rick as he stood to complete his mission of dressing, as much as she tried Carol couldn't help but keep glancing up at the sculpted chest of the man she had followed. Playing with the baby she couldn't see the looks from Rick as he casually glanced at her hoping to catch her looking at him.

Arriving at the prison yard, the trio was greeted by the rest of the group waiting on Ricks arrival as he explained his plan in detail hoping for succession. As the group disbursed Carol saw the anxiousness consume the leader as she comforted him convincing him that everything was going to be fine.

The plan went as planned not only shocking but consuming Rick in joy as he was allowed another day on this horrific world with his two miracle of children. Allowing the Woodbury citizens to stay was a decision based on saving his son from becoming a monster that was slowly possessing him. They had settled in and was doing more work than necessary to thank the original group for their hospitality, some had found someone to love some had found home others just accepted their situation. Carol had enjoyed the company so that she didn't have to do all the cooking and was allowed a social life in their small community. 

Spending time together was apart of their daily schedule for Rick and Carol, so when she didn't show up at his cell on time he worried and began to panic. Quietly he movedd the blanket that gave each cell privacy only for his eyes to bug out as he saw Carol without a top kissing a woodbury guy whos name he couldn't remember or cared about. Dropping the blanket back into place he stalked back to his cell with a frown on his face and head hanging low.
