People never stopped staring at you when you were on the bus, this made your anxiety rise you couldn't understand the stares as you shrank further into the seat feeling your phnoe vibrate in you pocket. Retrieving the phone you opened up messenger and read the message from your best friend Alice 'Jess you almost here. oh yeah more people are joining us' to this you sighed, she always did this knowing that you would panic making you open kik and talk to the two girls that always helped calm your nerves.
Leaving the packed bus you started your long walk to meet up with your friends and the strangers they had brought along, they weren't strangers to them but to you they were. Once at the Bull outside the Bullring you looked around spotting them, joining the group you realised that you were the awkward 7th wheel it was three couples and you. Great.
A sheep. Thats what you were all day a sheep just following barely making a peep not wanting to gain attention and even if you did you knew you wouldn't get it. Shopping bugged you to no end you hated it but still followed into every pointless store that made you slighltly sadder each second. Finally reacing the store that brought joy to your life and was your favourite, Forbidden planet or as people called it nerd central it contained all merch including the walking dead.
You watched as the others from your group walked off to the Manga and anime leaving you to sort through the walking dead po vinyls trying to find one that you didn't own only to knock down a lone Rick one. Bending to pick it up you were stopped by another hand who raised it off of the floor first, it was placed back onto the shelf and being picked back up by you. "I heard on one wants that one, no one likes him" the stranger coughed out laughing at his own joke as he pulled his hood down revealing his face making you eyes bulge out in shock.
"I'm Andrew" he spoke holding his hand ou for you to shake, accepting it you rplied "Jess". Technically your name was Jessica but everyone calls you Jess so who cares, he began to spark a conversation which was so comfortable you felt your anxiety physically leave your body. Exiting the shop to wait for your friends he offered for you to join him as you looked lonely and bored, his face showed sadness and hurt when you rejected him with heavy words. You stared at him as he crossed the street and stood staring back at you smiling.
When your friends returned they didn't notice you and carried on walking forgetting that they came with you breaking you heart but also lifting it as you ran across the road screaming Andrews name. Catching him you smiled and explained whilst he slipped his hand into yours, when you began to walk he swung your hands back and forth.
"I'm classing this as a date by the way"
