3 Months Later

Sakura was biting into her bagel, waiting for Sasuke to answer his door. She had coffee and his own breakfast in her hands. She stopped by his place on the way home, while he was going off to work. When Sasuke finally did opened the door, his phone was pressed to his ear, his face a scowl. It had seemed he had been arguing for quite sometime. She followed him in, placing his coffee and bagel on the counter.

"No big brother, we are done having this conversation." He is still not completely dressed for work. Sakura motions towards his kitchen and he nods before heading to his room to finish getting ready. By the time he gets back, he was beyond mad. Sakura slide the plate of fresh fruits and the bagel over to him, along with his coffee.

"Itachi again?" He takes a big bite out of his bagel, shaking his head.

"He's insane. This isn't the old generations, we don't need arranged marriages anymore." Sakura felt her heart creep up to her throat.

"He's trying to get you married?" She hoped she didn't sound as tense as she felt.

"It's this girl from my hometown. Her father is a huge donor to our families hospital. It's just another one of his attempts to get me to go back. He's even coming up to try and talk to me again. I don't know how to tell him no, more than I already have. It's also not like I can flaunt a girl in front of him, saying I'm already committed. You know are schedules." Sakura takes a grape from his plate.

"I can be..." Sasuke paused, looking at her.

"What?" he whispered out.

"I mean, I can be the girl you need to flaunt."

"Sakura-"

"I can pose as your girlfriend. We're friends, and I know your not ready to get married." Sasuke doesn't say anything, he just looks at her to gauge her reaction. Even though she suggested it, it seemed to hurt her a little. But the idea of finally having Sakura being with him, even fake for a night, was something he had trouble saying no to.

"Really, I can figure something-" He phone dinged, his brother Itachi sent him several pictures of the girl's resume.

"From your expression, I can see you need my help." Sakura took another grape, and smiling at him. The moment of hesitation gone from her face.

"Fine. But I owe you one."

"Good, can finally payback all the breakfast and hangover food I've gotten you." She joked, ripping off a piece of his bagel. Sasuke smiled, knowing she always ate half of what she gave him anyway.

1 Week Later

Sakura walked out of a new mother's room, after giving her the go ahead to discharge. The baby had passed the car seat test and was healthy and ready to go out into the world. The moment she walked out of the room, Sasuke quickly grabbed her elbow, walking with her.

"Do you have time tonight?" He seemed more nervous then she could have thought. Looking around the hallway, she noticed a couple of nurses giving her the evil eye. Sakura steered him towards the elevator to the ER.

"I have one more surgery scheduled, unless there's an emergency. What's going on? You seem...off." He pulled out his phone, gazing at the time. He won't get off until it would be time to go to dinner.

"I told my brother about us." Sakura smiled at a fellow surgeon who heard the word us, and pulled him into the elevator. She was certain by the end of the day, she would hear how she had stolen the one everyone wanted. "And he wants to meet for dinner tonight. I don't think I can get you out of it, unless there's an emergency." Sakura placed both of her hands on his shoulders turning him to face her. She still wasn't use to how nervous and fidgety he gets when it comes to his family. Facing anything else, he was always calm and cool, but bring a Uchiha into the mix, and the collective man disappeared.

"What kind of restaurant and what time?" She reassured him.

"Fancy, but not ball gown fancy, like work party fancy. I said we could meet at 8."

"Tell him, 8:30, gives us both plenty of time to get ready. Well me to get ready and you to calm down." She faced the elevators smiling. I'll be ready for you to pick me up at 8." She got off at a different floor then him, giving me a reassuring wave.

"8!" He called out when the doors were closing. Feeling somewhat more relaxed. "It's a date." He muttered to himself.

Sakura looked at herself one more time in her camera phone, hoping she looked fancy enough. The simple black dress, hugged her curves, perfectly, while her hair was longer than normal.

"I should get it cut soon." She muttered to herself, rocking back and forth on her heels. She wasn't used to wearing them for long, but standing all day in an OR all day to throw on heels afterwards was not helping her in anyway. Before she could think about going up to change, Sasuke finally arrived. His hair slick back, only seemed to make her heart skip a beat. Sakura smiled at him, sliding into his car. She thought she caught him looking at her legs, but she was sure he was just trying to make sure she got in okay.

"So, which fancy restaurant are we going to tonight?" She leaned back into the seat after buckling.

"Kage's Palace." Sakura blinked, turning her full attention to him.

"Kage's Palace? The most exclusive and expensive restaurant in all of Konohagakure?"

"Only the best for my brother." Sasuke muttered, heading towards the center of town.
