Sakura felt the sun on her face. Similar to when she first woke up in his bed, she knew it wasn't hers, yet it felt more like home then she remembered. Turning, over to face him, she was surprised to find his eyes eyes already open, a smile on his face. It was one of their private ones, one he only ever shows to her. He laid is one arm down, allowing her to move closer to him, her hand falling on chest, while his other rubbed her arm.

"Morning." She whispered.

"Morning." He kissed her.

"How long have you been up?"

"Not long. I didn't want you to wake up and me not be here." She hummed, leaning up to kiss him again. Sasuke ran his thumb over her lips. His eyes seemingly tracing every line he could fine, trying to jot it all down in his memory.

"Do you regret it?"

"Never." Kissing him one more time, she sat up, pulling the sheet with her. "Come on, I'll make breakfast. I think I have a go-bag here somewhere." She reminded him, they were already acting like couple before without ever being one.

Sakura had her cup of coffee curled up on the couch, one of his comfortable shirts on. Sasuke came over with his own cup, sliding next to her.

"I have a confession." He started, earning a look from Sakura.

"You told me the pancake mix was good."

"No, it's not about food." He shook his head, resting a hand on her knee. "I knew about you before the bar. Naruto had actually wanted to set us up back in high school, but I never really pursued it. I wasn't ready or even wanted to be with anyone seriously until I was older." Lacing her hand with his, she took in a deep breath.

"What Itachi said to me, it was almost like confirming everything I had been feeling towards you. I never felt good enough to be with you. Which is weird because I'm a kickass surgeon, but that's part of it. I'm good at helping others and being there, but when it comes to housework or taking care of others, I can only do so much in my personal life."

"Well, non of that matters to me. I'm a grown man, I can make my own food, and take care of my own chores. I rather have you." Placing her coffee mug down, she slid onto his lap, one leg one either side. He smiled, kissing her, his arms coming to wrap around her waist. "Oh and by the way, you are a much better person then me." He added.

"How so?"

"I would have punched Itachi." Sakura giggled, kissing him again. His hands ventured up under her shirt, tracing her back. Sasuke matched her pace, before he was starting to get impatient. Pressing her down on the couch, he moved to take off her shirt, but his phone began to ring. Looking at it, he grumbled.

"You're on call today or did you forget?" She teased him. Sasuke shook his head, picking up the call. He answered listening to the trauma emergency that was coming in.

"Okay, I'll be there ASAP." He hung up meeting Sakura's eyes.

"We already know each other's schedules better than we know ours." He gave her one quick kiss before running to get dressed for work. Sakura looked at her own watch, realizing she was running late herself. There was a first time for everything.

A few months later

Sakura walked out with Sasuke, holding on to his arm, her head leaning against his shoulder. They were heading to his car after a long shift.

"I hate this. Looking for an apartment is hard! Why does Ino have to keep the apartment?" Sasuke chuckles.

"It's hers."

"It's her dads, please Ino never could afford that nice of place." she mumbled, going over to the passenger side.

"Then move in with me." She stared at him, shock very evident on her face. Walking over to her, he placed both hands on either side, trapping her between the car and him. The simple upturn of his lips and the look in his eyes, it's clear he isn't joking.

"I wasn't saying anything to mean that-" He silenced her with a kiss.

"Move in." He states again. Sasuke found himself satisfied when he spotted the tall tell signs of her turning red.

"Okay." She whispered.

Hinata was sitting on their couch, her hand over her now swelling belly. Sakura placed a hand on top, feeling him kick.

"Strong one he is." She smiled. They were waiting on the rest of the group to come by, while Naruto brought his wife some food. He stood up, looking at Sasuke and Sakura smiling.

"Don't say it." Sasuke pointed at him, handing Sakura a glass of wine.

"Don't say what...I told you so? Because I did. I told you so." Hinata, gave his side a little smack, shaking her head. "What I did."

"Fine Naruto...For once you actually were correct about something." Sakura teased, steeling a grape from Hinata's plate.

"Hey, what is that supposed to mean?" Naruto yelled.
