Six days later_
UA High School_
"Thanks for training me again!" I waved to the helicopter that was flying away. I noticed Mr Bees waving from his seat in the window and turned around before looking at my phone to see that it was still time for school...and they dropped me off outside my school...not fair.
"Y/n!" Kirishima waved and ran over to me, "Welcome back to Japan."
"Good to be back," I nodded, we walked into the school together.
"Hey, you're not wearing your gloves anymore," he pointed out, I nodded.
"I learned a lot," I replied, "like a lot. I can control Destroy a lot more than I ever thought I would've been able to."
"Awesome!" he shouted, raising his hand up, I look at it confused, "high five?"
Oh.
I raised my own and then gave him a high five.
A few moments later we entered the classroom to see something pretty amusing.
Bakugo with gelled down hair, looking moderately respectful. It was actually kind of... Cute ? What--? Y/n, no freaking-- no-- just no.
Kirishima and Sero both started mocking him as soon as they saw him and it took me all I had not to laugh as well.
"You got to fight villains? Awesome!" Mina shouted, I hummed and stopped, curious about the conversation happening between her, Jiro and Asui.
"I didn't really fight, I was just logistical support," Jiro replied, twirling her earphone jack around her finger.
"I spent my time training and cleaning the deck, oh there was this one day that we fought a bunch of drug smugglers," Asui replied.
"OK that's cool," Mina and Jiro stared at her in awe.
"Oh hey, y/n, what about you?" Mina asked, now noticing my lingering.
"Oh me?" I asked, "my first full day we took down some thugs and then started training. Then the third day the base was attacked and I got to knock out some stupid American who thought that just because I'm a girl, I'm not strong. So that was fun. Then it was training until the final day when we went to get food from a restaurant and some guy pulled a knife quirk out on us. It was quite active over in America, more than it is usually in Japan," I replied with a shrug, "most of the time it was training though."
They all looked at me in surprise, I just shrugged it off before waving and going to my seat.
"It's time for class to begin, everyone please take your seats," Iida shouted out of nowhere. I just sighed.
Nothing really changed.
"Get in your costumes and get down to the training zone," Aizawa popped his head into the classroom before disappearing again. Strange.
We grabbed our stuff and then walked to our changing rooms, getting changed as we did.
"Whoa, y/n, what happened to your back?" Yaoyorozu asked I turned around in confusion.
"my back?" I asked before walking over to the mirror and looking over my shoulder to see a really big scar from my right shoulder down to my left hip, "I don't know where that's come from..."
"Seriously?" Uraraka asked all of them were looking at me worried now, I just shrugged and continued getting changed.
"I'm going to request a new costume design at some point, the one I have just doesn't work out anymore," I muttered to myself as I adjusted the hood and left the gloves out. I don't need them anymore.

"Today its hero basic training," All Might announced once we got to where he was waiting for us, "it feels like I haven't seen you in a while, welcome back! Now then, listen carefully for what's in store, we're going to be conducting a little race. Take everything you've learned from your internships and apply it to this rescue training."
"If its rescue training then shouldn't we be at the USJ instead?" Iida asked.
"Ah-- that facility specialises in disasters, as I said earlier, this is a race," All Might answered, "so prepare: you're about to step into Field Gamma. Inside here is an area full of factories that's more like an intricate labyrinth, so good luck finding your way around. You'll be competing in groups of five and one group of 6."
This sounds like everyone's going to be showing off their new skills today.
"Each person will start off at different areas in the outskirts of the model city, I'll send a distress signal and you do what you must to save me," All Might explained the scenario, "whoever finds me first, wins! But try to keep the property damage to the bare minimum please."
All Might pointed at Bakugo.
"Why're you pointing at me?" he looked away knowing exactly what the older man was saying.
Then he pointed to me.
"Hey!" I exclaimed before huffing slightly and waiting for the class to begin properly.
"Alright, the first group, get to your places!" All Might exclaimed, everyone moved and the rest of us hung back and sat in front of a giant screen.
Group 1:
- Midoriya
- Ojiro
- Iida
- Sero
- Mina
Everyone was putting Iida and Midoriya down and then they started betting over who was going to win before All Might set them off.
Sero pushed forward at first place using his tape. Mina slid across the pipes on her acid. Iida sprinted. Ojiro propelled himself forward with his tail and finally, Midoriya moved around in a flash of green.
They were all moving really quickly.
Midoriya took first place quickly. And then he fell... Sero took first place.
Sero won.
Group 2:
- Bakugo
- Aoyama
- Yaoyorozu
- Jiro
- Hagakure
Bakugo blasted his way from start to finish, he kept first place the whole way, Aoyama attempted to do a straight beam all the way over to All Might but got a tummy ache over a giant empty area and ended up knocking himself out. Yaoyorozu pole jumped from roof to roof while Jiro and Hagakure basically ran along the ground, however, I don't know where Hagakure was at all through the whole race.
Bakugo won.
Group 3:
- Shoji
- Mineta
- Kaminari
- Uraraka
- Koda
Mineta bumped into Shoji halfway around and ended up sticking to him like a leech. All of them ran across the ground but in the end, Uraraka won because she tapped everyone and they were more focused on not floating away rather than getting to All Might.
Uraraka won.
Group 4:
- Sato
- Todoroki
- y/n
- Tokoyami
- Kirishima
- Asui
The signal hit us and we began running. I created a net and jumped onto it. It was like a trampoline and pushed me up and from there I ran from roof to roof until I ended up meeting Todoroki right next to where All Might was. Tokoyami behind us with Dark Shadow coming closer and closer, Asui was on a roof somewhat further away but I could already tell what she was planning. I haven't a clue where Kirishima was but I don't think he's much of a threat considering he's basically stuck on the floor. Sato as well.
The four challengers on the roof all stared each other down before I made my move and sprinted forward. Creating a net and putting it between me and All Might and everyone else.
I eventually reached him just as Todoroki had managed to freeze his way through the net.
"Well done, young y/n, you win," All Might praised me, passing me the sash, "I see you've gotten a much better handle on your quirk now."
"Yes, I learned a lot and gained a lot of experience in America," I replied, nodding to him as everyone else gathered around.
"Alright, everyone you can go get changed," All Might announced, "time for lunch."
