I walked out of the lift just to see Katsuki collecting everyone rubbish. I had Atlas on his lead and was in my running gear.

"Going out?" Mina called, getting the attention of everyone else. I nodded.

"We're going on a run," I replied with a smile, everyone froze again and I quickly pulled my hoodie up over my nose and looked away. Their reactions are making me self conscious as hell.

"A-anyway," I shook my head and turned to the door just as it opened and Aizawa entered with Recovery Girl, Principal Nezu and Present Mic.

"Y/n, we need to talk to yo-- what's with the dog?" Aizawa asked.

"This is Atlas, he's our class mascot," Kaminari jumped over.

"And protector," Mina added as Atlas growled at Mineta.

"Never mind that, do you have a few moments?" Nezu cut off Aizawa before he could scold us all.

"Yeah," I nodded, "what's the matter?"

"It's regarding your quirk," he replied, "everyone, please leave and go to your rooms for ten minutes, you may come down after that."

Everyone looked wary before nodding and going to the lift. So once they were all gone, myself and the teachers all moved to the sofas and sat down, Atlas stood on my knees and growled at everyone.

"So what's the matter?" I asked, patting Atlas and sighing as he kept growling.

"There's something wrong with your quirk, dear," Recovery girl started the topic of our meeting. I stiffened and looked at them in shock.

"I got a letter from Dr Dr," Aizawa cut in, "so before you say there isn't anything wrong, I'd think again."

Fuck you, Dr Dr.

I looked away, anger visible in my face.

I thought I had a little more time, I guess not.

"Quirk corrosion disease is a serious disease, y/n," Nezu told me, "how long were you going to go with this?"

"Until the end," I replied, making sure to avoid eye contact no matter what.

"The end? Oh no, that so not cool, yo," Present Mic said loudly, doing his weird hand movements as he spoke.

"Mics right," Aizawa nodded, "it's not a good idea. You should've just told us."

"Yeah," I looked at him with a glare, "tell the people who, as soon as they find out, would tell me to forget everything. Forget becoming a hero and back off, leave UA and work towards another goal. Sure thing, I should've told you for sure."

The sarcasm was rolling off my tongue.

"I suppose that is a very logical conclusion," recovery girl nodded, "however, if I found out about it earlier, I might've been able to he--"

"Help?" I cut in, "Don't be stupid QCD is an incurable disease that exists only in people unluckily born with two quirks that don't work together at all, not even in the slightest. One, a quirk in the eyes, second, a quirk in the hands and body. For me, that's Time and Destroy."

They all looked at me wide-eyed at house self-aware I was about this.

"People with quirks like that are recommended not to conceive children because there's a 1 in 4 chance that their child will be born with this disease that would gradually build up and depending how often their quirks are used, depends on how fast the stages pass by," I continued, "I did a bit of research about it on the train ride back yesterday. I figured, if I'm going to die from this, I might as well know more about what I'm getting myself into, right?"
