I finally came up with a theme for the villain.

TW: Mentions/Threats of Deadly Gases, talk about effects of said gases, mentions of war tactics, etc.

I freaked myself out googling some of this stuff. Seriously, it's freaky. So your welcome for facing my fears for this crap.

Summary:

"Strange? We need to talk." Steve said with undertones of worry.
~~~
"We have a chance, but there are only 5 realities that we win, and 4 out of those 5 aren't pretty."
~~~
"... Dark times indeed, you can say." Strange said solemnly
~~~
What could their kidnapper be doing? Would they come unexpectedly? What's going to happen to them?
~~~
"Good Evening, Gentlemen."
~~~
Enjoy!
Tony Stark POV
"Who the hell are you." Tony growled, his grip on Peter tightening to the point where the boy winced. Tony loosened it regretfully, but never took his eyes off the place where the voice came from.
"Please, have a seat." The voice said, the person sitting down. A few papers were set down on the table, all holding things seeming to do with war. The two minions forced Tony and Peter down, Tony wanting to snap their neck for touching his kid.
"Very good. Now, let's begin." The voice said. "Tell me. How much do you two know about World War 1, if I may ask?"
The odd question made Peter and Tony exchange a glance. 'What's this guy trying to do?' Tony thought, turning back to the dark portion of the room where the voice spoke. "What's it to you?" Tony said, malice laced in his tone.
###This is where the Deadly Gas part is###
"Such a fascinating war, really. There were many technological developments at the time. For example, tanks became standard. Trench Warfare was prominent. But one thing that seemed to always crush the enemy's moral..." The voice pulled out a vial with a yellow substance in it and put it on the table. "...Was gas."
"Specifically, Sulfur Mustard, more commonly known as Mustard Gas. I'm sure you two know what it does to the body." The voice said, tapping the vial slightly. "It essentially drowns you on land. Without a gas mask, it floods your lungs with your own bodily fluids, killing you slowly and painfully. You're destroyed from the inside." Tony looked over at Peters face. Peter was absolutely terrified, he could tell. He stared at the vial in horror, his eyes flickering from it to their kidnapper and back again.
"Now, while it only killed 4% of the soldiers in total, it definitely never failed to put a damper on moral. Of course, that was in the past. Now, we have made more developments to deadly toxins. We have more, even worse things than simple Mustard gas." Tony knew somehow, that their kidnapper was smiling. "This is what you will face if you make me angry."
The man flicked his wrist towards a rat in a sealed container. A metal vent attached to it suddenly spat out a puff of air. The rat suddenly began to spasm, its eyes going wide as it panicked, clearly squeaking despite the glass being sound proof. The rat collapsed, dying almost immediately afterwards.
"That, my dear hero's, was Compound 1080. It was outlawed as it's, well... a little too efficient of a killer." The kidnapper said. "There's no antidote. It's odorless, tasteless, and water soluble. No way to avoid it. It blocks cellular respiration, causing a quick but painful death."
"And you won't be the one suffering from it. Whoever makes me too mad will, unfortunately, have to watch the other die from it. Now wouldn't that just be bothersome." The voice said, as it was comparing the plight of death of a loved one to a simple traffic jam. "I'd be disappointed if I'd have to deal with too much gloom in here."
"Of course, you can avoid all that. But you must comply!~" The voice said. "It's simple, really. You all are my new experiments. Both of you will suffer, but sacrifice is needed. It'll be so much fun! I cannot wait to surprise you with what we have in store~"
"Why are you doing this?! For personal gain?!" Tony yelled, standing up while the guards were quick to restrain him.
"It's simple. I want to advance in my field. And if I do something groundbreaking, I'll advance. Especially if names like "Tony Stark," are involved. Besides, I think you have bigger things to worry about than my motives. Guards." The voice suddenly went from—For lack of better word,— satisfied to commanding. The guards stood to attention. "Show them our latest work in their cell. I'm sure they'll love to see what they've supposedly become."
   "Who are you?! What's that supposed to mean?!" Peter yelled as he and Tony were being forced out of the room.
   "Awww, Petey! Don't ruin the surprise! It'll come in time, don't you worry your little head!" The voice said way too cheerfully as both of them were forced out of the room.
Ugh I don't like deadly gas...
Maybe that's why I choose it to be the villains main weapon... still weird to research.
Anyways, here's where I got the research:
•Wired.com-The Best: Deadly Poisons, Ingested or Inhaled.
•Also my history class, figured I'd  be learning while I write.
Love you Webheads 3000!!!
