i was leaning on my locker with avani on my arm.

let's be honest here, i was using her for her body, trying to get alyssa off my mind.

let me tell you, it's literally IMPOSSIBLE.

ive tried and tried for weeks and it's not working. i don't know why, but just looking at her makes me feel this type of way.

i seen her walk in this morning, with one of the biggest smiles she's had in a while.

any other day she would walk in with her airpods in, tears about to fall from her eyes.

she may think i don't pay attention anymore. but that's the thing, i pay too much attention.

today was different tho. her smile was gentle but you could tell it was real.

she looked straight passed me tho. i guess all things don't change.

she walked to her locker, putting some of her books in here bag.

i shook it off because she was probably just taking them to class.

"i'll be right back guys." anthony said as he left the group.

he walked of to her and hugged her.

id be lying if i said i was jealous.

i looked down at avani and squared her face.

"i love you pay." she said.

"i love you too v." i said.

that's the biggest lie i've told in a while.

i don't love her. i love aly.

it hurts that aly don't even want anything to do with me anymore.

i pulled my phone out and re-read the messages.

i looked up from my phone with a sigh.

i looked at alys locker and seen anthony kissing her.

she pulled him closer, she was enjoying the kiss.

but that should be me. and you could tell it wasn't to make me jealous. that kiss was real.

and i hated it.

i pushed through jaden and dylan and stomped over there.

"what the fuck is going on here?" i yelled.

you could see the fear in her eyes.

i could tell my facial expression softened.

"i'm going to go." she said. her voice was cracking. she was scared.

"baby please don't be scared of him." anthony pulled her into his chest.

she broke out into tears. she was so happy this morning, i hate being the reason for that too end.

"are you two together?" i was afraid of the answer.

anthony looked down at alyssa.

he was about to speak, but aly interrupted him.

"yes we are. what's the problem?" she asked sassily wiping her tears.

anthony smiled down at her.

"fuck." i said under my breath.

i wish i was the one that could hold her. kiss her. cuddle her. but i can't.

"i can't be-" i was rudely interrupted by avani pulling on my arm to go to class.

"awh y'all are finally together? i'm so happy for y'all. you're so cute!" she squealed. she was being genuine too.

i sighed and walked away.

i want this day to be over and it just started.
