The lines wrapped around city blocks at first, then around entire cities themselves. The vegetarian sandwich was a hit. More than a hit, it became a phenomenon within weeks. Other restaurant chains soon went out of business or became a veggie plus drive thru.
Virtually overnight the population became vegetarians, which was fortunate. Veggie plus prided itself in making their veggie sandwiches out of only the freshest vegetarians.
