Story Update

Dear readers,

To all of you who have been reading this story since the first chapter came online, thank you for having been around for so many years now, and my apologies for having posted new chapters so irregularly over these years.

Over the course of writing these 17 chapters, however, and with my life having become busier over the past couple months, the way that this story has progressed has unfortunately resulted in a writer's block. In addition, this same story progression has also resulted in a number of situations that could have been written or structured better that I am personally dissatisfied with.

For those reasons, I must inform you that this series will come to an end. This does not mean the end of the story, however! Since this story is something that I have been developing and working on for several years now, I don't want to kill it off. That is why I have decided to rewrite the story. Most of the new story will be the same as what you have read in this series already, but will be written more professionally, and structured better. This should result in a better story that will be more enjoyable for everyone who chooses to read it.

One way in which I aim to make the newer version more enjoyable is by reaching out to you: the reader. While the main plot line of the story has already been thought out, there remain many details that need to be filled in, and you can have a say in how these details are filled in. If you have any ideas or comments on how the story might be written or improved, please don't hesitate to express them.

I plan to bring the first chapters of the rewritten version online on September 20th. Comments and ideas are always appreciated and will all be considered for the story. This does not mean that all comments and ideas will eventually make it into the story, however. That being said, I hope that the rewritten version will prove to be as satisfactory to you as it will be to me.
