Chapter 14: See Ya Later

Nash's POV*

I woke up with no one by my side. Where did Pea go? I turned over and looked at the clock, it was 6:07. I have to get up and get ready for my flight. I could smell something, somethi… MMMM bacon. Somehow my feet were now walking themselves down to Pea's kitchen and I saw her in an oversized sweatshirt that almost went to her knees with her hair in a messy bun. I sneak up behind her and say, "Good morning beautiful."

She looked over her shoulder and said "Morning Nash!"

"Making me breakfast, in the most adorable way are we?"

"No I kind of just woke up and walked down here, this isn't really adorable is it?" she now said turning around smiling at me.

"Yeah it is. Now let's eat breakfast before we have to get going to the airport."

"Okay it's done so sit down and I'll serve you my honor."

I rolled my eyes and sat down by the island.

"Where are your parents?" I asked her noticing that they usually are up by now.

"They had to leave this morning at 3 for their flight. They’re going to Ethiopia to meet my new baby brother. It has kind of been a secret for awhile, they’ve always wanted to adopt. I guess you're the first person I told." She said eating the last piece of bacon on her plate.

"Really?! That's great I'm going to have a brother in law" I said waiting for her reaction.

"We aren't married yet so he's just a new neighbor. To be honest he is the cutest little guy ever and I'm so excited to have them bring him home. They just have to stay there for a month." She said now with kind of a sad look on her face.

"Awe babe, they'll be fine. I'm sure you'll be fine." I said grabbing her plate and mine and placing it in the sink.

"It's 7 now babe we should grab your stuff from your house and say goodbye to your family, then probably get going." She said leaving the kitchen.

"Okay then let’s get going."

*Pea’s POV*

I was hoping Nash would have asked me if I wanted to come with him to LA, but I guess not. I'll stay home for a month alone. Hopefully Nash doesn't forget about me in the next 3 months. Since he is going to be gone for 3 months, he kind of quit school. He and Cameron are finding an apartment there, so his only option is to do online schooling. I'm going to miss him. Wait. I might get to visit him in a month when my parents get home. They'll want some alone time with my new baby brother.

"Pea are you okay you have been daydreaming for awhile and we are at the airport." Nash said taking me out of my thoughts.

"Sorry Nash I have a lot of things on my mind." I said opening the car door to get out.

"Its fine babe, we have to go through security and baggage then we can find a Starbucks before my flight, yeah?" he said grabbing his bags from the back of his car and rolling them into the airport.

"Sure, I'll pay." I said since he had to keep everything in his bag.

I bought our coffees and gave Nash his as he was walking over to me with a smile on his face.

"What?" I said handing him his coffee.

"Nothing, I'm just going to miss you so much. Don't forget about me please." He said sitting down by his flight entrance. I sat next to him, leaning my head on his shoulder and clasping my hand with his.

"I'm going to miss you to Nashy poo. But why would I ever forget about someone who has put such an impact on my life? You're amazing, handsome, and all I have ever wanted." I said looking up at him and kissing his cheek.

"I love you Pea." Nash said setting his head on mine. He brought my hand up to his lips, looking into my eyes as he kissed the back of my hand.

"I love you too." I couldn't help but leak a few tears just thinking how I'll get through this.

***FLIGHT 478 WILL NOW BE BOARDING***

The warning call took Nash and I out of our thoughts and I instantly felt more tears roll down my face. The love of my life will be leaving for 3 months without me. I'm going to fricken miss him so much.

He wiped my tears, saying "It's going to be okay. I'll text you when I land and I'll call and FaceTime you almost every day. Okay?"

"Okay. Goodbye Nash." I said as he gave me a hug and slowly let go of my hand to get on his plane.

"Bye." I whispered as I watched him get on the plane. I could still see him and then, gone. He was gone.

I started walking away crying and I was almost to the security area.

"PEA!!!" umm who's calling my name? Nash is already on his plane so it couldn’t be him.  I slowly turn around and see… Nash? He turns me around so my backs facing him, "I forgot something." He whispers calmly and slow into my ear.
