3 weeks later

ALEXIS POV

I'm sitting on the couch with Cameron as we watched WRECK IT RALPH . " Mommy did you see that? " Cameron asked me "yea I did baby" and I wasn't lying the movie was actually kinda good. "I wanna dwive a wace caw won day" Cameron said focused on the movie. after an hour and a half he was knocked out laying across my lap. I picked him up and carried him to his room I toke off his clothes , put his pajama pants on , tucked him in , turn off the light and left out the room . I walked in my room , toke off my clothes and got under my covers as soon as my head hit the pillow my phone rung . ugh!

" hello?" I answered

" Hey Alexis, this is Brittney." I heard

"OH! Hey what's up?" I asked

"Nothing, I was just calling because I got you and Cameron's tickets for tomorrow's home game." she responded

"I completely forgot about that" I said laughing " but thank you so much Cam is going to be ecstatic !" I told her

" I'm sure he will" she laughed " the game starts at 7 but If yall want you can come around 6 so Cameron can meet the team and hang out a little with us before the game?" she said more of a question

"Sure! I'm sure he will love that ! we'll be there at 6. and again thank you!" I told her

"No problem. see you tomorrow . bye" she said

"Bye." I said as I hung up and went to sleep

Next day

I woke up to hearing the tv . I walked into the living room to Cameron watching "SPONGEBOB". he must have heard me coming because he turned around " HI MOMMY!" HE SAID SMILING " Hi cam." I said kissing his head . "guess what baby." I said "what mommy?" he asked "We're going to a basketball tonight!" I yelled as I picked him up a threw him in the air and caught him. "WEALLY?!" he yelled " yes really." I said "so let's eat then find something to wear" I said as I noticed it was already 12 o'clock . I fixed us some burgers and fries and by the time we finished eating it was 1:30. I got Cameron washed up and dressed first since he wouldn't take long . then got in the shower while he sat on my bed watching cartoons. I got out the shower , curled my hair , did my make up and got dressed . I looked at the the clock and noticed it was 3:45 . I left out at 4 o'clock because the stadium was about an hour and 15 minutes away and I knew with it being a game day traffic was going to be hectic . We pulled up to the stadium at 5:30. I helped Cameron get out and looked at the long line that was standing outside the stadium, people who were trying to buy last minute tickets and others who wanted to get seated but it was too early for them to get in. "mommy do we have to stand in that long line?" Cameron whined. "no baby just hold on" I said I we approached a security guard. " Can I help you?" he asked "Yes my name is Alexis Tate , I was told my name would be on the list along with Cameron Tate ." I told him " Oh ! Yes miss Tate . right this way" he said as he guided Cameron and I to the basketball court.

BRITTNEY POV

I was practicing shooting a three-pointer when I heard "Bwittney!" I looked over to see Cameron running ahead of Alexis . I dropped the ball as he approached and picked him up "Hey lil man" I said smiling at him. I watched Alexis approach us. damn she was looking bad af! 😻🔥 I noticed the rest of the team looking at her as I gave her a hug "You look good " I told her as she pulled away from the hug and noticed her blushing

ALEXIS POV

"You look good" Brittney told me "Thank you " I told her as I blushed. fuck! why am I blushing she's just a girl "Come on. Let me introduce y'all to the team " Brittney said as she lead us to the rest of the team. " Hey y'all this is Alexis and Cameron " she said as she then introduced us to each individual . " I remember you from the club" said a blonde hair girl "oh yea! Katie right?" I asked unsure "yep that's me " she said laughing . I heard someone mumble something to my left and when I turned my head it was that bitch from the club who's ass I beat. "problem?" I asked as I raised on eyebrow "hey lex why don't I show y'all the locker room?" Britney said trying to defuse the situation . "sure why not?" I said smiling " nice meeting you all " I said as I smiled and waved while I follow Brittney.
