Alfred watched Robin.
"It is alright, Master Robin. It is most unfortunate that you're not dead; you're alive. And, as I've told Master Bruce Wayne, both of you are in the grip of something that's more terrifying. Besides, we have security added to prevent the Bat Cave from being ruined. And there's a lot of criminals in Gotham City to put in jail, apart from The Penguin...and the Joker".
"And Poison Ivy".
"And Catwoman".
"Yes, everyone. Besides, Alfred, time doesn't heal all wounds, if you've lost any family member. Or members".
"I agree, I've made some jam and cream scones...and hot tea. If you've the inclination to have some supper".
"That will be good, Alfred. I'd like that. Then I can sleep in my room...And hope, the same as you, that there won't be any crimes tonight".
"Agreed!".

And he poured the teas on a silver colored tray.
Then placed a knife in his gloved, right, hand.
Then spread the jam onto the scones...
...And served the supper for the last time that night.
