This has been in my drafts for a really long time, but now I'm publishing it because I'm roughly two chapters ahead and I need to polish them up! Guys, I'm really sorry I'm not consistent with updating my shit, and I'm going to say now that it's going to be more of a struggle because of exams and stuff, but I have a week off atm so I can focus on this story!

Hope you enjoy it, let me know what you think, k? Give it a vote if you think it deserves it or if you have any ideas for future chapters (I've got a few but I'm open to hear your opinions!)

The picture is to help you readers to visualise the restaurant scene!

Chapter Seven~

"Okay, so" Dad began with a sigh, flexing his fingers upon the coffee table in the living room. "Caiden?"

I glanced opposite at him, he was wearing a V-neck jumper and was biting the stringed edges of his sleeves like he was anxious. His eyes moved to mine and quickly returned to the blankness of the oak table, the same feeling as always occured within me every time our eyes locked.

Caiden's mouth opened, and he began to speak.

Six year old Caiden was half asleep with tiredness along with his little sister. Both of them had their arms and legs twisted with each other as they tried to make comfort at the back of the family's old jeep. They muffled and groaned as they shoved each other weakly, annoyed of the cramped space they shared and the sweaty heat, meanwhile their Mother and Father were in heated discussion on where they were going in their road trip in the middle of a deserted bit of Albania.

Mother was holding the map, also feeling the frustration building up inside of her as she tried to convince her Husband he was going the right way.
