Chapter Three~

It had been raining since the start of break.

Gazing outside the crystal covered window, I watched as beads of water splashed across the school yard like a paintbrush whipping it's colours onto a canvas. I never actually noticed how this view looked, it was one of them moments where I wished I had my camera and took a snapshot of it.

Facing away from the window, I looked over to my right and watched a pair of hands put effort in attempt to make something with a creased paper.

"Nalini?" I spoke. "Origami?"

Her hands slouched away from the paper with a distraught out breath. "It's harder than it looks"

I rest my chin on the surface of my palm, frowning as I took the paper and studied the creases she made. "What're you trying to make?"

"A swan," She answered, as she subtly grazed her cheek with a finger. "I've been interested in Origami for awhile" Just as she finished her sentence, the door to the hushed classroom opened, catching no ones eyes except mine. I watched intently as he appeared, straight away making a walk to the front desk where the teacher sat marking papers. He mouthed something to her in a tranquil manner, the teacher smiled, and nodded showing acceptance.

I kept my eyes on him as he wondered to the opposite direction to collect a task sheet that everyone else was working on. He had a lean perfect figure and burly tanned arms, and when he reached for a paper, his tight Calvin Klein shirt lifted slightly, exposing a breif outline of his abs.

My thoughts abruptly returned to Nalini as she indignantly scrunched the wrinkled paper in her fist with a grimaced look on her little face. "I'll go get paper," She murmured, and stood up from her seat. Her frizzy hair bounced with each step she took towards the same desk Ryan was still gathering pages at. She didn't take notice of his existence until she took a momentary glance, and when she did she snapped her head to me with a gaping expression, her mouth movng in a way that said "It's Ryan!".

She jerked her head slightly to his direction with her eyes still on me, wide with excitement and mischief. I glared at her, flapping my hands exaggeratedly in a no motion that I was sure I was attracting attention from.

She flashed a grin along with a secret thumbs up.

I slouched back in my seat wth a huff, preparing myself for huiliation as Nalini tapped Ryan's shoulder to gain his focus.

"Hi Ryan," She grinned.

"Hi...?" He frowned slightly, like her forgot what her name was.

"Nalini," She stated, her face dropping with impassiveness.
