my eyes fluttered open to see all our friends taking snaps of joe and i and i realise that his arms were wrapped around my waist and i was snuggled into him.

i tried to escape from his embrace but he just pulled me back down instinctively and i turned around faced him. "joe wake up," i whispered as he groaned and realised that he was holding onto me. "i'm sorry," he whispered as he let go and i glared at jason.

"guys stop," i groaned as jason and everyone teased us for it.

i rolled my eyes and stumbled towards my duffel bag and pulled out a black dickies shirt and some blue mom-jeans. i slipped into the bathroom and took a quick shower and did my morning routine.

i soon realised that i forgot to bring my makeup bag and i stepped outside to see joe wearing a white dickies shirt as well and everyone started teasing us and my cheeks burned red.

"okay enough with the jokes, heidi, becks, do y'all have some makeup i can borrow?" i ask as beckah fished out her makeup bag from her bag and passed it to me as joe looked at me weirdly. "you look great without makeup, why would you put it on?" he asked as i blush slightly.

"well i think i need it so," i trailed off and i was walking to the toilet but joe grabbed the makeup bag out of my hand and threw it back to beckah.

i rolled my eyes as i sat down on the couch in defeat.

joe and jason's mom made us some pancakes and we all ate up before we piled into my car and i drove us to school.

as soon as we arrive everyone stared at us because i mean it was 7 teens arriving to school together so i don't blame them.

"shit it's colder than i expected," i said as i realise that i was only wearing a t-shirt and some jeans. joe looked over to me and pulls off his hoodie and passed it to me as i stared in awe.

"aren't you cold too?" i asked, afraid that he'll be cold.

"i'm fine, i don't want you feeling cold," he states as jason winked at me and whispered to heidi what he heard and i laughed and accepted the hoodie and put it over my head and i was overwhelmed by his cologne.

my heart literally stopped for a while and i could feel butterflies in my stomach as he swept some hair out of my face and gave me his small smile.

we were hanging out in the hallway before the first bell rang and we all proceeded to our own classes and joe and i went for biology again and this time i hope that it'll go so much better than the last time.

we sat down at our seats and chatted for a while before mrs nelson walks in and immediately shouts at us to keep quiet and i rolled my eyes and when joe and i would literally whisper or look at each other she would threaten to send us to detention.

"i'm so not feeling this lesson," i whispered as mrs nelson was scribbling on the board.

"you want to leave?" joe asked as i gasp and immediately nodded.

"okay i'll meet you at the toilet?" he whispers as i excitedly nod and let out a small smile and he goes to the toilet after mrs nelson angrily agrees.

"mrs nelson, please may i go to the toilet?" i begged as she rolled her eyes, "no! mr waud is in there right now. you'll have to wait till he gets back." she shouts as i panicked and immediately thought of the perfect excuse. i leaned in and whispered, "i think i got my period."

her face turns white and her eyes widen, "oh dear please go and hurry." and i smirk and rushed out and i saw joe waiting for me by his locker and i ran up to him and squealed excitedly as he covered my mouth.

"we don't want the principal hearing us," he whispered as i blush in embarrassment and we sneaked towards my car and literally sped out.
