My Sweet Omega Chapter 6: Pregnancy Progress Report Prologue

The next day at the Omega Ward in the outskirts of Gainesville, Florida...

Virgil sighed as he scrolled through his Spotify playlists for a song that could distract him from his upcoming appointment. He looked up and took a look around the ward. Most of the people there were male Omegas with their Alphas. One Omega, in particular, stood out to Virgil. A strawberry blonde male omega wearing a neon pink t-shirt with denim overalls on top of it. He stood up and walked over to the Omega and his Alpha. The alpha wore ripped, jeans a black Metallica t-shirt wit ha red plaid button-up shirt over it. His head was full of fiery red hair and a beard to match.

"Uhm sorry to bother you...but uh..." the anxious side muttered. The Alpha and Omega looked up at Virgil.

"May I help you?" the strawberry blonde asked, smiling at Virgil as he closed his book.

"Uh yes my name is Virgil Moore and that is my mate Roman Prince over there reading a Disney book...and I need advice...this is my first pregnancy and you kinda looked like the guy to turn to" Virgil muttered. The male Omega gasped and gave Virgil a hug.

"First of all let me extend my congratulations on your baby, second my name is Tyler Josephson and third you said you needed advice," Tyler said happily. Virgil nodded as he pulled the hood of his hoodie up over his head. Tyler's Alpha chuckled.

"Ye've got nothing to be afraid of laddie. We won't bite!" the Alpha said, smiling, the Scottish accent thick and burly. Tyler patted an empty seat to the left of him which Virgil promptly sat in.

"So I can understand you might be a little scared since this is your first pregnancy but I am here to tell you that there is nothing to be scared of" Tyler started.

Virgil chuckled.

"Scared might be a bit of an understatement..but what I am most scared of is...the pain," he said. Tyler gave Virgil a reassuring smile as he put a hand on the anxious side's shoulder.

"I am not going to lie and say it won't hurt, it does....but the pain will be all worth it when the midwife will put your baby on your chest and you make that first contact" Tyler said. Virgil looked at him. He fiddled with the hoodie strings. 

"I have never thought of it that way...here gimme your phone I'll put my number in your phone," he said. Tyler smiled and handed Virgil his phone. The nurse called Virgil's name. Virgil quickly put his contact info into Tyler's phone before heading into the doctor's office. While they were waiting for the doctor Roman smiled at Virgil.

"What? Why are you smiling at me like that" he asked.

"So I saw you made some new friends Virge...I am proud of you" Roman said. 

Virgil smiled.

He had a good feeling about the upcoming nine months.
