(Note: This is to take a break from the story. All Twitter names except Thomas' are fake names. The main story will resume shortly. Also, there might be more Intermission chapters in the future. But no promises tho. Also, this intermission was inspired by the Sanders Sides Q&A. Oh and the twins are 16 here and run a successful YouTube channel where they tackle LGBTQ issues, give advice, animations and do the occasional let's play. )
Skye adjusted the camera as his twin brother sat next to Logan. He pressed the record button and quickly sat next to Patton.
"Hello, ladies, gentlemen, and greetings to our non-binary Gemini Family it's ya boi Skye" Skye started the vlog enthusiastically. He looked to his brother who smiled at the camera.
"And me James and welcome back to our YouTube channel. Please subscribe and remember to press that lil notification bell to get notified of future uploads and to join the Gemini family" James finished.
"In today's video, we are having a Q&A with our parents!!!" Skye said gesturing to Logan and Patton with a grin. Patton and Logan both waved to the camera.
"We asked you guys over on Twitter, to submit questions to both me and James and to our parents with the hashtag #TwinFamilyQA. With that out of the way let's start with the Twitter questions" Skye said scrolling through his phone. He stopped at a question.
"@ThomasSanders asks....aww Uncle Thomas thank you...anyways he asks "If your parents are Logic and Morality respectively then what traits of mine are you representing, Skye and James?" he read out loud. James looked into the camera.
"I am Uncle Thomas' Rationality. I make sure he does make rational and logical choices in his life" James answered.
"And I am Uncle Thomas's Optimism!!!!! The source of his chipper and happy mood!!!" Skye answered in the same happy manner Patton would. Patton smiled. Skye continued to scroll down his phone to look for another question.
"Aha, this question is for Papa Patton. @PepsiIsMyLife asks how were the twins when they were kids?...oh dear god no..." Skye said. Patton let out a happy squeal as he rushed off-camera to grab the family photo album. He came back with a very thick binder containing every moment Patton has ever documented in the twins' life. He flipped the album open to a picture of baby James. He was sitting in a high chair and was covered from head to toe in spaghetti and sauce and showed it to the camera.
"They were just the most adorable little things ever. This picture I am showing you right now was when James started eating solid foods. He accidentally tipped the entire plate pf spaghetti on himself...oh it was such a precious moment" Patton reminisced. James covered the photo and looked at the camera.
"OKENOUGHOFTHATNEXTQUESTIONSKYEPLEASEANDTHANKYOU" James said rapidly. Skye laughed as he read the next question from his phone.
"Ok @PattonisBestSide asks Logan how would you say parenthood has changed you?" he read out loud. Logan adjusted his glasses and his tie and looked into the camera. A faint smile appeared on his face as he cleared his throat.
"I'd say it has changed me for the better...before I didn't understand emotion at all...I still don't understand all of it but I do understand that this experience has made me into a better logical side for Thomas, father for James and Skye and mate for Patton" Logan replied truthfully. Patton and the twins looked at Logan before all three of them enveloped him in a hug.
"We love you to dad..you are an amazing and awesome dad," James said, softly sobbing.
"Yeah dad...you are the best," Skye said before looking back at his phone for more questions.
"I love you too my dear," Patton said.
"Ok next questions comes from @ElChupacabraand he asks. What inspired you to call your fanbase the Gemini Family?" Skye read out loud.
"Oh, that is simple. The name stems from the Zodiac sign Gemini which usually has twins depicted as their symbol and seeing as both Skye and I are identical twins we thought the name would be appropriate for our fanbase. It is quite fascinating really" James explained to the camera in an orderly fashion.'
"That and Dad Logan helped us a little bit" Skye confessed. Logan looked at the clock.
"Boys it is getting late. You should get ready for bed seeing as it is a school night" he said calmly.
"But we aren't done with the Q&A yet dad....." Skye pouted.
"No buts mister we don't want you to be tired in school tomorrow, besides you can always make a part 2," Patton said siding with Logan.
"Ugh fiiiiiine" Skye whined
"You know Papa is right and please stop whining you are not five anymore, Skye," James said
"I know. Anyways that was it for part 1 of the family Q&A subscribe, press the notification bell and stay tuned for part 2. See ya on the flipside Gemini Fam" Skye said. He turned the camera off.
"Well that was rather satisfactory I look forward to doing the second part with you boys," Logan said.
"Yeah me too kiddos. love you" Patton said.
"Me too dad, papa," James said.
James and Skye both smiled and hugged their parents before heading to the room they shared together as brothers.
"I am just so darn proud of them," Patton said to his Alpha.
"Likewise Patton. Likewise" Logan said before heading off to bed.
