Day off

{ This Upload is kinda more on the fluff side and with less of a story, if you know what I mean? XD}

* Y/n's Pov*

"Y/n, I'm back!" Asra shouts as he comes into the shop.

"Oh welcome home Asra! I was just about to open up" I replied hugging him, exited that he's back.

"Oh that's ok Y/n you can have a day off today! Go see Muriel, I noticed how fond he is of you last time I saw you guys he couldn't get enough of you" He winks at me throwing over my scarf.

He obviously has been gone for a while and doesn't know that me and Muriel are actually dating and that I have about half of my stuff over at his house. I immediately burst out laughing but Asra just tilted his head and looked at me confused.

" Asra" I start laughing " Me and Muriel are dating... and have been for the past 7 months" I finish as I calm down.

Asra was speachless ( for once) so I took that as an advantage to run out the door and to Muriel's hut.

-At his hut-

I get closer to the hut I hear a strange, deep noise... I've never heard it before and it gets louder the closer I get. I finally open the door and find a sleeping Muriel cuddled up with Inanna and one of our chickens.

MY.HEART.MELTED.

So this is what he does before I come round in the afternoon? I step inside the door and and shut it behind me and it made quite a noise. I put my coat on the hanger near the door and walked towards him.

" Muriel... M-muriel are you awake?" I whispered stroking his hair out of his face gently.

He didnt wake up or reply. His head kind of followed my hand's direction like it was the only thing he craves for so when I pull it away he almost whimpers and grabs for my arm while still asleep. We stay like that for a long time... Me stroking his hair and playing with it as he sleeps with his arms around me. Every now and then I would kiss the stubble on his chin and when I did her would let out a little mumble and automatically gave me a peck on the forehead and tighten his arms around me out off protectiveness and possesiveness. During his sleep he had somehow pushed away both Inanna and the chicken and now I was the only thing he was only holding on to. I kind of loved it though.

It must of been 4 hours of sitting like this Muriel is finally stirring awake from his slumber. ironically about 20 minutes before I normally arrive at his hut. His eyes began to open as he began to grumble, pulling me closer. He then realised

"hmmm... Y-Y/n w-what are you doing here!?" He says quite startled but still hugging me.

" Asra gave me a day off.... I've been here for nearly five hours" I said casually while wrapping his hair around my finger.

His face looked like it was about to explode

All that came out of his mouth was a stuttery mess of words. I just carried on stroking his hair and smoothing down his arms. I quickly prop myself up in his arms and lean in to kiss his lips.

" oh shush just go back to sleep, I like it like this" I insisted.

He replied in only a few more grumbles but then slowly submitting and closing his eyes, enjoying the head massage and hair braids I put in his hair.
