Chapter 18 - Ups and Downs

Ross' POV

Ratliff came running up to me in a panic and quickly gave me the 4-1-1.

He seemed really worried!

I hope Rydel and their baby is ok.

He gave me his keys and I went over to their car to get out Thomas.

He was crying, probably scared, and I frowned at him.

"Aw it's ok buddy," I said gently as I scooped him up out of his seat.

We walked into the hospital and up to Sarah and Rocky's room.

We found it and opened the door to enter.

Riker and his family were already there.

"Uwncle Wocky is it a boy or a girl?" Ellie squealed.

My eyes widened before I laughed a little.

"Well Ellie," Rocky said kneeling down to her level cradling a little bundle of cloth.

"Say hello to your new baby girl cousin, Raelyn. Raelyn Noel Lynch," Rocky said smiling proudly at his newest edition.

Ellie looked at her in amazement.

"She's so cute!" She squealed making Rocky chuckle.

Stephanie looked at baby Raelyn with a big smile.

"Stephanie you can hold her if you want," Sarah said tiredly.

"I can?" She asked unsure.

"Of course," Rocky said gently handing baby Raelyn off to Stephanie.

I smiled at her and switched baby Thomas to my other hip.

"Wait Ross, why do you have Thomas? Where are Rydel and Ellington?" Riker asked me.

"Oh um uh." I sighed and just figured I should say it.

"Rydel was feeling really light headed and her stomach was in a lot of pain. She collapsed once at home and Ratliff rushed her here and I saw them in the parking lot. That's all I know has happened so far," I explained sadly.

"Oh my god," Caroline said frowning.

"Is she gonna be ok?" Riker asked worried.

I shrugged and frowned.

"Wait what is happening to mommy?" Alex asked frowning.

"She's not feeling to well," Caroline tried to explain as less as possible.

"Oh," Alex said sadly.

Caroline gave him a hug to comfort him.

"Thoma!" Danny suddenly squealed.

Thomas started to giggle and he waved at him.

"Be quiet Danny," Riker laughed.

"You can't yell."

"Thoma," Danny said at a normal tone.

Everyone laughed at the crazy babies.

"Uh-oh someone's getting fussy," Stephanie said gently to baby Raelyn.

"She's probably hungry," Sarah said.

Stephanie nodded and gently handed her off to Sarah.

Sarah had to breast feed her so she covered everything up with a blanket and it was fine.
