Today/Tomorrow on September 1st, Jungkook turns 22 international age! I wanted to put out a special chapter to commemorate this day. I am doing this on a whim so please bear with me.
In this chapter, we will be going over things I considered while writing this iteration of Jungkook's character. I say it that way because I acknowledge that my fictional Jungkook is not the real Jungkook. We will also just be enjoying some wholesome Jungkook content :3 Let's get started!

Jungkook's Imposter Syndrome

I think it roughly translates to telling us to expect this to be released? Anyway, we'll know more when we have the whole song, but some ARMY is already theorizing that in this song Jungkook is singing about his imposter syndrome between BTS Jungkook and Jeon Jungkook the normal everyday person. JK has said before, especially in the Bangtan Attic as part of 2018 FESTA below, that he has trouble comparing himself to the big image that his kpop self has become.
This is a recurring theme that I try to highlight in The Sound of Bells. It's important to me that the main character, while she admires Jungkook from the ARMY perspective before she meets him, starts to fall in love with the person he is behind his persona. I believe that the real Jungkook will appreciate someone who he can be completely himself around and who gives him a sort of shelter from the storm of his persona in his daily life. He should be with someone who loves him regardless of his stage presence 😋
I think from analyzing JK's words in the past and the snippet of lyrics to this song, he wishes he could feel the way that his persona portrays himself. This imposter syndrome is a phenomenon that occurs with many people though, even people like Einstein and Maya Angelou.
Luckily, ARMY is always there to pat him on the back and tell him he's perfect no matter what 😊

The Jack of All Trades
In the same Bangtan Attic, it's touched on that Jungkook is more of a jack of all trades and has multiple hobbies, but secretly wishes he was a master in one.
