Peg something - to have a particular quality of something
During uni days, (I studied Communication) we have this term called Peg/s when we will design a certain layout (ex. posters, advertisements). These pegs are images that would serve as an inspiration and aimed to help the designer/editor have some sort of 'feel' for the intended design.
