Namjoon's eyes widen in shock and confusion as the entire room turns and stares him down. "W-wait... what?"
Smears of crimson get brighter on Namjoon's cheeks - a few more tears threaten to spill over and coat his dimples with salty water. Jungkook signals to his fellow maknaes, so Taehyung and Jimin slowly get off of Namjoon and help him up. Engulfed by silence, Jungkook quietly watches his masterpiece unfold.
"So Jinnie can be happy." the maknae says to himself, while returning Seokjin's journal to its original location. "Because Namjoon hyung loves Jin hyung. And there is a chance Namjoon can love Jin... differently. So Jin can be happy. I just want him to be happy."
"What's going on?"
Jin, who had finally gotten back from getting BBQ for his friends, and who had finally gotten over the whole Taehyung-wants-to-talk-to-Namjoon incident, lets his voice rings through the silent room. Everyone's eyes leave Namjoon and turn to the chirpy-voiced boy.
"... What's wrong?... Why is everyone staring at me?"
The smile on Jin's cheeks almost fall until Jungkook perks up. "Finally! What took you so long? I'm starving!"
Seokjin, oblivious to Namjoon's teary eyes solely looking at his own feet, replies in his usual quirky manner, "Sorry! Let's eat!"
"Um a-actually... I'm not hungry anymore... I'll go sit in the living room. By myself." Namjoon eyes Seokjin with an unreadable expression and turns to leave.
"Actually," Jungkook speaks up before Namjoon can leave a very confused Seokjin alone with the rest. "Um... I'm not hungry either just yet... So, how about we play a few games first?"
"I thought you just said you were starving." Namjoon questions, not wanting to spend time with him-who-has-the-feelings. "And I don't want to play any games right now-"
"I am NOT hungry, and we are GOING to play games. Understood?" Jungkook interrupts Namjoon's protes through his teeth, glaring at his reluctant hyung. "Geez, Namjoon. Why you gotta be so difficult?"

Namjoon's eyes widen at the scary maknae, and he quietly nods, agreeing to participate.
"Ok!" Jungkook half-shouts, excitement and happiness restoring in his doe-eyes and bunny-smile. "First we need to partner up and line up!" The maknae smiles softly, eyes twinkling at his lovable friend, Jin, then returns to his cocky smirk when glancing at Namjoon.
Seokjin immediately turns to his best friend. "Joonie, come! Let's be partners." The oldest reaches out to grab his best friend's hand, like he normally does, squashing the butterflies flitting in his stomach. Namjoon, almost by instinct, shrinks away at the physical contact. Jin shoots a confused look and reaches out again, but to no prevail, as Joon yanks his own arm behind himself.
Jin turns his head to the side with a questioning look and asks, "Joonie... is something wrong?"
"U-um... I..." Namjoon desperately looks around for escape as his eyes set on Hoeseok. "H-Hoseok!"
"Hoseok?" Jin asks.
"Me?" Hoseok questions as well.
"Um... Hoseok already asked me to be his partner!" he forces a chuckle and apologizes. "Ahaha, sorry Seokjin!" Namjoon walks up to Hobi and grabs his arm.
Jin's smile falls slowly as Namjoon goes to talk to Hoseok. A sad thought lingers in his head too. "He hasn't called me by my full name for as long as I've known him..."
Meanwhile, Hoseok whisper-yells at Namjoon. "Um, boi what are you doing?! You know I want to be partners with Yoongi-" Hoseok cuts himself off when he meets Joon's pleading eyes.
"Please hyung?" Namjoon mouths softly.
"Clearly, Namjoonie isn't comfortable with Jin's secret crush just yet", Hoseok thinks to himself. "Fineee, I guess I'll help. For now."
"OH YEAH!" Hoseok pretends to remember. "Sorry, yes, I asked to be partners with Namjoon. Sorry, Jin." He also makes sure to apologize to his pissed lil' meow meow. "I'm really sorry, Yoongs." Hoseok says with a sheepish, sad smile and gestures his eyes toward Namjoon.
Yoongi gets the hint and realizes that Hoseok doesn't actually want to be with Joon, and shrugs back. "It's okay Hobi. I'll just be the MC. I'm too lazy to play anything, anyway."
Eventually, Jimin ended up with a disappointed Jin, Namjoon with a disappointed Hoseok, and Taehyung with a disappointed Jungkook.
"Come on, Namjoon." Jungkook telepathically tries to signal. "Don't let my plan fail this easily."
