Chapter 4

Previously: “Okay, truth or dare?”

“Truth.”

“Aw, you woos!” Niall complained, grinning at Harry. “Am not! Just ask me a freaking question.” Harry nagged, chuckling a bit.

“Okay… do you have a girlfriend?” Niall asked, his smirk dropping. This was a now or never moment.

“I don’t have a girlfriend.” Harry said, smiling at Niall. Niall nodded, waiting for Harry to continue.

“Truth or Dare?”

“Truth.”

“Okay, same for you. Do you have a girlfriend?” Harry questioned. “No, I don’t.” Niall said honestly, feeling accomplished. Harry was single!

“Cool.” Harry said, mentally smacking himself. Why cool? Niall probably knows you fancy him now. Niall nodded, smiling back at Harry.

“Yeah. It is cool.”

In that moment, Harry could have pounced on Niall then and there.

But he didn’t.

Instead, he nodded with a small smile and continued to eat his chicken.  Niall nodded back, shoving a piece of chicken into his mouth awkwardly.

“So your turn. Truth or Dare?” Niall questioned, smirking at Harry.

“Dare.”

“Okay… I dare you too stay the night at my house.”

“But I don’t have clothes.” Harry mentioned, “Or a toothbrush.”

“Doesn’t matter, it’s a dare.” Niall argued back, smirking widely.

“Fine. Truth or Dare?”

“Dare.” Niall said back.

“I dare you too make me dessert.”

Niall chuckled, rolling his eyes at Harry. “Fine. Want to watch a movie when I’m done?” He questioned, smiling slightly. “Yeah sure!” Harry replied, smiling at Niall’s large selection of movies.

“Okay. Pick one while I’m cooking.” Niall said kindly, smiling at Harry then turning into the kitchen.

Harry walked to the large rack of movies and began to skim through it. He ended up picking the movie The Chumscrubber, making Niall smirk when he came back out with ice cream.

“I was lazy and didn’t want to cook, so I just got us some ice cream.” He said with a wink, handing one bowl to Harry and keeping one bowl to himself. Harry chuckled, putting the movie in and getting comfortable on the couch.

By the end of the movie, Harry was crying hysterically, making Niall frown. “A-are you okay?” Niall questioned nervously, scooting closer to Harry. “Y-y-yeah.” Harry stuttered, hiding his face slightly in his hands. “Just a sad movie.”

Niall nodded, wrapping his arms around Harry slowly and nervously. He wanted to comfort Harry, but he didn’t want to make him uncomfortable. “It’s okay. It’s just a movie.” He reminded the curly headed boy, making him nod.

Niall wasn’t sure if he was helping or not, but Harry hadn’t pushed him away yet, so he continued to slightly stroke Harry’s arm as he hugged the crying boy.
