I sit down in the living room. Perrie is in the kitchen making dinner, while Louis, Harry and I sit down watching football. Well English football.

It's been three months since the court day when I got shot. I was actually pronounced dead legally for five minutes, but something happened and well, I'm back to normal. Well Define normal.

Louis was a mess when he first saw me. His eyes were blood shot, and his face was puffy from all the tears he had shed.

Robin, went to prison for more years than what he originally had. He was convicted of assault, and failed attempt of murder, of a detective, so things went a lot worse for him.

Perrie was oblivious to the whole thing, well that was until Louis and I got back home to good old New York. I told her the "adventure" Louis and I had through out these eight months, she's just glad that I'm back in one please, and just like I promised her, I'm taking a break for at least a year from my detective agency.

I offered Louis, a break as well but he declined, saying that he wants to continue doing the business while I'm on brake. The agency decided to promote Louis from a assistant to a detective as well, I was and still am so proud of him, I told him he could leave my agency when ever he felt like it, but he said even though he's a detective, he will be My assistant no matter what.

The flat is filled of banter from Louis and Harry, cheering on the footie team that's on the Telly.

In one of those moments, I decide to get up and walk to the kitchen, wanting to see if Perrie needed any help with dinner.

As I walk into the kitchen, I find her petite figure cooking away. Her blonde hair is tied up into a messy bun as she cooks, completely oblivious that I'm standing there watching her in adoration.

I walk slowly towards her and hug her from behind. She stiffens but once she realizes it's me, she turns around and looks up at me, with bright blue eyes filled with love, and a grin covering her face. I smile at her beautiful face that I've missed for so long.

"Not having you with me for those eight months was hell." I tell her slowly.

"Believe it or not same." She giggles, running her small feminine hand through my quiff.

I leaned down and softly kiss her plump lips. She smiles within the kiss, and deepens it, pulling me closer to her. We part away smiling.

"I love you." I tell her.

"I know you do." She grins. "But I love you more Malik." She says kissing me softly on my lips. Soon there's someone at the door, and we part again to our dismay.

"Liam, and Niall." I say. "Excuse me, love." I smile giving her one more peck on her lips. She nods, going back to making dinner.

I walk down the short hallway and open the front door, being met by a smiling Liam, and a grinning Niall.

"Hey guys! Glad you could make it!" I cheer happily.

Niall gives me a Horan hug but quickly parts away sniffing the air. "Jesus! Who's cooking is that?! It smells delicious!" He says licking his lips and walking into my flat.

I chuckle at the boy. Niall seems to have cut his hair, styled it up into a quiff, and dyed it bleach blonde, with brown at the bottom. "It's perries cooking." I smile. "She's making Roast."

"ROAST?! Fuck! That's my favorite!" He says running through the hallway and into the kitchen.

"He loves roast." Liam shrugs, chuckling. I grin, as we give eachother a hug.

"So what's up mate?" I question as we walk down the hallway to my living room. Harry and Louis are still watching football.

Liam takes a seat on the couch, and me sitting next to him. "Pretty good yeah." He smiles. "Niall is staying with me, while I try to keep him on update from those 5 years he had lost."
