Night finishes packing her stuff in her trunk. This includes all her loose parchments and quills. Her head is throbbing from this morning. She somehow triggered a vision, causing her to fall out of her bed. If only she could control her powers. Her frizzy brown hair is in a ponytail and her hazel eyes keep looking everywhere. She has to make sure everything is packed. Grams already gets annoyed when Neville forgets stuff, she doesn't need to egg it on.

When she was a baby, the Longbottoms adopted her. Considering hers and Neville's birthdays are right next to each other, they might as just be twins. Grams claimed her birth parents gave her up was the best thing they could have done for her, hopefully that is true. All she's known is this family, making her happy.

Neville sits on the ground by his sister, putting one her scarlet and gold scarf in the trunk. She just half ignores him, continuing to pack everything.

"I heard the bang this morning," he states. "What was it about?"

"I kept seeing a snake and a glowing blue orb."

"I worry about your visions."

"I do too." She looks over at her owl that is sound asleep in the cage. The bird is all black with silver eyes. Neville had bought the owl and named him Dark as a joke gift. So Night bought him a toad that he named Trevor. "We need to get going soon."

"I'll help you move everything."

The two grab her stuff and take it down to where the family car is. She sees that Neville's stuff is already in the trunk. Her slides in next to his and she puts the owl in the back seat. Once Grams gets in the car, somehow not taking off that crazy hat, the other two do. Night takes the backseat and her brother in the front. She looks out the window, watching as the neighborhood start to disappear.

"I don't want you associating with that Potter boy," the head of the Longbottom house states.

"Oh Grams," Neville whines. "He is not as bad as the papers make him seem."

"Plus the papers is Ministry ran," Night adds, leaning forward. "They will change facts in order to gain the result they want."

Grams look back at her briefly, turning her head back to the road.

"Sit back girl. You know how dangerous it is?"

"Yes ma'am."

The girl leans back and watch the scenery change as they continue to the train station. Finding a parking spot is horrendous as usual. Then there is finding a trunk trolley when every Hogwarts students and their families are here. That is on top of the usual group also. Eventually the two Longbottom siblings do get moving towards the train. Grams wishes her grandchildren luck, letting them board the steam engine.

Night watches as Ron Weasley chases his younger sister, Abi. Only for the red headed Slytherin run into her boyfriend's arms and her brother to take his wand back. Everyone knows about the Weasley that is a Slytherin, dating a Malfoy. Such a weird combination.

Neville leads his sister down the tight corridor, everyone trying to avoid the mess. The siblings slide past Harry and his friends. Night barely brushes past him. Images flashes in her mind. Cedric's death. Voldemort rising. The pain and anger. The sight of his parents. A lump forms in her throat as she does something she wouldn't have done any other time.

"I believe you by the way," she says, turning around. Harry stops, looking at her. His green eyes always been attractive to her. Automatically she regrets doing this and her face heats up. "I believe you on what happened that night."

"Thanks Night," he responds. "Just be careful with people hearing you say that. I'll see you in the Common Room sometime."

He goes back to finding a compartment. Night mentally scolds herself as her and her brother go find somewhere. They open a door to see a girl sitting by herself. She has long black hair and looks about their age. However, she is new.

"Is it okay if we join you?" Neville asks.

"Sure," the girl responds, turning to look out the window. The Longbottom siblings put their trunks up above the empty half of the compartment. They sit across from the girl. The only male decides to attempt a conversation.

"I'm Neville and this is my sister, Night."

"Night?" the girl asks. She has an American accent.

"We don't know her birth name," Neville states. The girl nods her head.

"I'm Jas."

Night notices the jewelry on her. It combines an alternative look and also has an antique look to it. She is also a bit blocked off. Sometimes, when you just observe, you can notice things like this. After a certain point, Jas breaks the silence.

"What is Hogwarts like?"

"Most of the time, it's another home," Night finally says. "Though some stay to their respective Houses." She nods her head, not seeming too shock. "What's it like in the American school?  Ilvermorny correct?"

"Um.. well, I guess you can say it is similar to Hogwarts. Everyone is divided into their groups. And for some it is a safe haven."

Night notices how she said that last bit. What happened to this poor girl? Why is she coming to Hogwarts? The one thing is though, she won't push her into talking if she doesn't want to.
