Two weeks passed and everyone took the time to just relax. All the men stayed at home, instead of going to the club and even Marcello was out of his office for once. It seemed like all business was going well.

I went to the living room to join everyone as some were having conversations and some talked to each other. I sat next to Matthias and he smiled at me.

"Hey, are you okay?" Matthias asked me politely.

Since I got to know Matthias, I realised that he was one of the nicest people here. I don't know how he was involved with the mafia.

"Yeah, I'm good." I replied back.

"Some of us are going to get food at a restaurant for dinner. Do you want to come?" He asked me.

"Sure, yeah." I said.

Ethan came in and looked at all of us.

"We need to get Grayson to come too, Marcello's orders." Ethan said.

"Well, did you ask him to come then?" Asked Caterina.

"He won't answer me. He's in his room." He said.

"Are you sure he's in his room?" I asked and his eyes landed on me.

"Yeah, he hasn't come out and he won't answer when I call him." Ethan said and I nodded. He left it for a moment being and that's when I realised he was staring at me.

"What?" I asked obliviously.

Oh no.

Oh Hell no.

"No. I know what you're thinking. I'm not asking him." I said and he narrowed his eyes at me, but he looked amused.

"Too late." He said and picked me up and threw me over his shoulder.

"Ethan! Put me down!" I shouted as I pounded his back with my fists. I heard Caterina and Matthias chuckling as they watched us.

He didn't say anything as he ran up the stairs, taking two at a time, somehow. He dropped me right in front of Grayson's door. I tried to run away, but he caught me and pushed me towards Grayson's door.

I finally decided to do it as I was already here.

"Fuck you." I whispered to Ethan and he rolled his eyes and walked away.

I knocked on Grayson's door and waited for him to answer. There was no sound and the door hadn't opened as I still stood there awkwardly. I wondered whether I should just walk away since I was getting no answer, but I opted to knock once more. I raised my hand to knock again, but the door opened to reveal a suited Grayson. He looked sober for the first time in what seemed like a while and as I peeked a glance into his room, I saw no girl.

I forgot my words as I looked at him, memories of the last time me and Grayson spoke running through my head. I cleared my throat and licked my lips nervously.

"We're going to a restaurant in a bit for dinner." I said and forgot to ask him as he still stared at me blankly.

"D-do you want to come?" I asked and I was still faced with a blank face. I cursed myself for stuttering in front of him. I chewed the side of my cheek, waiting for an answer and played with my hands.

"Okay." He said, stepping forward and closing the door behind him. I tried to hide my surprise as I walked with him downstairs. He stayed behind me as I entered the living room. Everyone's eyes averted to mine as I entered the room nervously.

Their faces fell as they didn't see Grayson, but after a moment he appeared and the surprise on their faces were almost comical, if it wasn't for the fact that Grayson looked uncomfortable as he faced everyone. He looked everywhere else but at them.
