Chapter 31

Me and Eleonora left the restroom quietly, not saying a word to each other. Before we got back to the table, I placed my hand on her arm and stopped her. She looked at me, wondering what was up.

"Thank you for telling me Eleonora. I know it must've been hard for you to tell that story again." I said and she smiled at me sweetly.

"It's alright Iris. Whatever is going on between you and Grayson will soon sort itself out. I'll talk to him later." She said and I nodded in appreciation.

We got back to the table, no one knowing what had just gone on in the restroom. I sat back in my seat and finished the rest of my Prosecco and waited for the last couple of people to finish their food. We all stood up and waited by the door for Marcello who was paying for the bill.

"So how are you finding Italy so far?" Asked Ethan.

"I like it, it's really nice." I said and he raised an eyebrow at me.

"Just nice?" He asked and I rolled my eyes, my lips couldn't help but form into a smile.

"It's amazing." I said and meant it. He chuckled and patted my arm softly.

"So, where to, next?" Asked Sebastian and everyone looked at Luna and Lorenzo.

"We could go to the beach?" Luna suggested and some agreed and some didn't.

"I'm going to go head back to the hotel, not really feeling the beach today." Said Sebastian and a few agreed with him. Sebastian and a few of the others headed back to the hotel, while we set out to the beach which was not far. I held a conversation with Leonardo and Luna on the way, them telling me when and how they had met and fell in love.

Soon enough, we got to the beach and Caterina squealed as she looked around at the sun, the sand and the sea, taking it all in.

"Let's go!" She screamed excitedly and grabbed my arm. My eyes widened as I knew that she was going to literally drag me into the water.

"Caterina stop!" I yelled and stopped, so she almost tripped. She looked back curiously and put her hands on her hips.

"I'm not going into the water with my dress on and neither are you, we'll have nothing to wear afterwards." I said and she shrugged. I rolled my eyes and looked around, noting the few shops around. She sighed and nodded her head towards a small shack shop, the outside decorated with surfboards, sunglasses, sun hats and more.

"We'll see if they have any swim suits in there." She said and dragged me over the store. We walking inside, the vibe instantly hitting me, making me feel comfortable and welcome.

"Welcome to my store. How can I help you two beautiful ladies out today?" Asked a voice from behind us and we turned around to look at the slightly older man behind the counter.

"We were just looking for some swim suits." Caterina responded, smiling at the sweet man.
He pointed to another corner of the store.

"Women's clothing are all on that side." He said and we rushed over to all the clothing and swim suits.

Caterina squealed as she took in all of the swim suits. She went down each row and aisle looking at the swim suits carefully, deep in thought, meanwhile I grabbed a random black swim suit which looked cute and went into the changing rooms.

I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. I got hoisted into the air before those arms disappeared and I plunged into the water.

The salt water stinged my eyes and it filled my mouth, making me gag as I rose up from the water, coughing and I looked around. I turned to see Lorenzo's hands over his mouth, trying to stifle his laughter. I glared at him and splashed my hands in the water in his direction, making sure it splashed in his face before swimming away from him.

I wasn't watching where I was going and bumped into someone. That someone obviously being Grayson. He looked down at me, while I slightly got distracted by his naked chest.

He turned his head forward and looked straight ahead at Lorenzo, shooting him a deathly glare, leaving me to wonder what was going through his head at the moment.
