Rebecca was scrolling through her instagram feed, liking every few pics, commenting on some of the better ones, until she reached the end. Ok, now time to check up her hash tags. She went into the explore section and she didn't even need to search it, #suicide was still open from the last time she went on. She scrolled down the feed opening all of them individually, commenting and liking most of them. Her comments usually went along the lines of "I know it doesn't seem this way now, but it will get better <3" or "Just keep holding on". Of course they were all personalized to each persons post and reason to post but even she knew there was only so much comforting you can do over the Internet. She kept scrolling through when she came across a slightly different one. This one was a photo of someone's arms, covered in scars with a caption of "You hear 'fine' but you see 'not fine' so why don't you say anything". The photo had no likes and the poster had no followers and it was the sort of thing she would usually comment on, but, unlike the others, this one already had a comment. Some account (help_is_here) had commented, "I don't know you but I do know a few things about life, it DOES get better and it is worth it. I know you feel like people are deliberately turning a blind eye to your suffering but they just don't understand. You can't give up; make what you say the truth and it will be. I know it doesn't feel like it now but life is worth it, just keep fighting". Rebecca stared at her phone before quickly tapping the link to the page and stalking the person. This account had done exactly what she had done though Rebecca could swear she had never heard of them before. The only difference between her and 'it' was that this person had made a whole account based around helping people around suicide and depression, whereas she had only gone to the hash tags and commented, and none of her friends knew about it. Why would they need to? help_is_here had only three posts but over 50k followers! She couldn't believe she had never heard of them before! She clicked follow then sent a direct post to them, "I just stumbled across your account, and I think it's amazing that someone has finally made an account entirely based on helping people with depression, thankyou so much for doing this, you don't know how much it means to me". She clicked send and plugged her phone into its charger before lying down in bed. As she lay there thinking about what she had just seen she could feel herself tearing up. It had been so long since she had seen something that nice and she was crying herself to sleep with tears of actual genuine happiness.
