Ok, this chapters shit, but oh well, here it is, unedited.......

Rebecca burst out laughing, doubling over clutching her stomach and completely ignoring his outstretched hand.

Over the past few days they been texting and calling each other constantly, and it was such an obliviously Charlie thing to say, never realising quite how creepy he sounded.

"What, what did I say!" He was looking so confused; it just cracked Rebecca up even more.

"You do... know...." She gasped in between chuckles "how creepy... that sounded..."

Rebecca finally looked up at the person in front of her. He was at lest 10 centimetres taller than her and had a caramel brown mop of hair above confused blue eyes.

It took him a moment but Rebecca could see the realisation on his face and he quickly covered his mouth with his hand.

"Holy shit, I thought it would sound funny!" Charlie half yelled into his hand before pulling it away and laughing a bit himself.

"Don’t worry, it did" Rebecca laughed again.

She slowly composed herself and then they stood there in an awkward silence for a moment. "So, um, I brought my laptop?" He had meant it to come out as a statement but it sounded more like a question.

Rebecca chuckled again. "Ok, so let's go find some free Internet, and get this radio running!"

*********

They had settled for using the Internet in McDonalds and they sat there huddled around Charlie’s small laptop. They had been there for 30 minutes and still had no idea how to start a radio station.

Finally Rebecca slammed shut the laptop, nearly squashing Charlies fingers, and leaned back in her chair. "If I sit here staring at the computer not finding anything for another second I’m going to scream!"

"Whoa, calm down Rebie!" Charlie laughed "should we walk around somewhere or do something else for a while then? Get inspiration?"

"That" she paused and thought for a second, "is a wonderful idea, let's go!" and with that she marched out the door.

Rebecca only got a few steps before Charlie caught up to her. "So, got any ideas worth hearing?" she asked without pausing or looking over at him. Rebecca could hear his heavy laugh next to her, "uh not really but, if we're going to host a radio show together, maybe we should know a but more about each other." Charlie cautiously looked over at her

Rebecca gave him a sideways glance "pfft, I already know every thing about you, we've been bffs for years!" Rebecca turned around quickly as Charlie muttered something under his breath. "What was that?!"

Charlie looked up sheepishly "nothing..."

She wasn't buying. "Charlie whatever-your-last-name-is, what did you say!"

"Nothing!"

WHAT DID YOU SAY" Rebecca was usually nice, but she enjoyed teasing Charlie, he was so funny and easy to get along with

"isaidiwashangingoutwithacrazyperson" He mumbled quickly, not meeting her eyes. Rebecca just laughed. She knew she was weird, she had gotten used to it, and so had most of her friends. A thought hit Rebecca suddenly, had Charlie gotten used to it yet? The smile slowly dropped from her face as she studied him. As he realised she wasn't laughing anymore, Charlies laugh faded out to return her curious gaze with a sheepish one.

"Do you really think I'm crazy" Rebecca couldn't hide the hurt in her voice. When she was younger she had a hard time making friends, because she was always 'too happy' or 'to nice'. As she got older she had learnt how to still be herself without getting up in peoples faces all the time, and how to be nice without annoying people, and all her friends accepted her for her happy hyper self. But even now, some people would still give her that look, whenever she did something weird, most people laughed at her jokes or her craziness (in a nice way), sometimes they would give her a dirty, or that judging sideways glare. And no matter how hard she tried to ignore it, it still hurt.

The laughter completely left Charlies eyes and was replaced with a soft smile as if he knew exactly what she was thinking. "We’re all a little crazy aren't we?" he asked.

Rebecca looked down at her shoes. Usually things like this didn't really hurt her that mush but for some reason today, when Charlie said it, it cut deep, and she could feel the tears welling up in her eyes. Before they could escape though a big pair of arms wrapped around her in a tight hug.

"I'm sorry Rebie, I don't think you're crazy, you're and excitable independent that makes me laugh. I can't say anything else because I don't know you well enough, but you are not insane, and if you were you would be handling it very well because you certainly don't act it."

He pulled back and looked into my eyes " and anyway, who cares if you're insane or not, it's just a title, it doesn't change the person you already are"

Rebecca looked at his smiling face. She didn't get it. As if sensing her confusion, he quickly elaborated. "Lets pretend I’m bi-polar and I don't know right now, and then a doctor diagnoses me with bi-polar, does that change the person I am or will be, just because they gave me that name?"

Rebecca stared at him. That made so much sense. They were all just labels, and they didn't matter. All of a sudden the world seemed so simple and Rebecca couldn't hide the smile on her face. "That is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard"

They made eye contact and the moment was over they both doubled up laughing and suddenly Rebecca didn't feel bad, in fact she felt the opposite, like she was on top of the world and nothing could stop her.
