( Audrey, Evan, and Riley pull up to school park the car, get out and go in to get their classes )

Audrey:

"Awe man, I only have 3 classes with you guys" Evan said. "Same" me and Riley said at the same time.

The bell rang and I headed to my first period. Algebra.

-In Algebra-

I always sat in the row closets to the door so I could leave the fastest because the hallways were always busy and since this year there were going to be more seniors I was definitely going to need the seat next to the door.

15 minutes into Algebra, a new kid walked in. "Oh you must be the new kid, Zack Harris, right?" Mrs. Green said. I was too busy drawing on her desk to notice him. "Yes that's me." I heard a deep-ish voice say. I looked up and saw a blonde haired tall guy standing next to Mrs. Green's desk. I went back to drawing on the desk and didn't pay too much to the conversation between Mrs. Green and Zack the new kid.

"Miss Smith, since you seem to not be paying attention, why don't you give Zack a tour of the school since I know also know it very well." Mrs. Green said in the most sarcastic way. I grabbed my backpack and took the hall pass of the wall and me and Zack walked out to the hallway.

"So, I'm Audrey. And looks like I'll be your tour guide." I said in the sarcastic way. I wasn't trying to be rude or anything, I just didn't want to show him around the school. "Oh, I used to have a best friend named Audrey.." he said, but it sounded like he was sad about saying it. "Well..I'm sorry for your loss I guess." I said. "It's alright." He said back. I showed him around the school which took forever, all the way until lunch period.

"Hey can I sit with you at lunch?" He asked. I really wanted to say no, but I didn't want to be mean to him on his first day. "Sure." I said. We grabbed our lunches, and I met Evan and Riley where we had sat for the past 3 years, outside under a tree.

We weren't losers or anything, and we weren't shy, we just liked it more under the trees. Plus no kids really ate outside, so it was more peaceful.

"Hey Audrey, how come I didn't see you in 3rd period?" Evan said as me and Zack sat down. "I was busy showing around the new guy, so you guys, this is Zack." I replied taking a bite of my sandwich. "Zack meet my friends Evan and Riley" I said. "Nice to meet you." Zack said smiling. "Nice to meet you too." Evan said back happily. Evan was always happy.

"Hey, when you say zack you mean like Zack uh- Harris, ur old crush from when you were 7?" Riley asked." I didn't think too much of it. "Yea, but this isn't him." I said throwing down my fork. "And can we please not talk about him? That was years ago, haven't heard from him since I was 7, I hate him now." I said deeply sighing. "Sure, sorry Audrey." She said. "It's alright." I replied back.

The rest of the day went on pretty normal. Nothing really happened.

-10:46pm-

???: Hey this is Audrey right?

Audrey: Yea this is her, who's this?

???: This is Zack, the guy you showed around today.

Audrey: Oh hey wassup? And how'd you get my number?

Zack: Nothing much, and I asked Evan for it.

Audrey: Oh okay, and why?

Zack: Idk, I just thought if I ever had an emergency I'd probably need to call you since your the only person I know at our school.

Audrey: Uh- I guess that makes sense, anyways I think I'm going to go to sleep cuz I have to get up early, but see you tmmr at school.

Zack: Okay, good night Audrey.

Audrey:

I wasn't actually going to sleep I just didn't feel like talking to anyone because of the whole "10 years of Zack being gone" thing. But it was weird for Riley to bring my Zack up in front of the new kid cause I got a weird feeling. Anyways I went to sleep not too happy, but hoping by tomorrow I would just forget about the old Zack because he probably wasn't thinking about me.
