Just To See You

Chapter 1: 10 years ago today.

Hey, I'm Audrey. Audrey Smith, and this story is like almost every teen love story accept it's better. It has everything. But I'm getting ahead so let me go back to when it all started.

-13 years ago-

"Hey, are you there" I said into the mic of my headset to my best friend Zack on roblox. "Yes, but I have homework!" He said back. "Do it later, I only have time now." I said. Me and him were 7 and 8. He was 8 and I was 7.

I wasn't supposed to talk to people on the internet but he was my best friend. We hadn't met yet though. I wanted to meet him though. Around this time I wasn't a very social kid either so having him to talk to everyday on weekdays at 3:30pm on the dot, and on the weekend at 9:00am was amazing. I could be myself around him. But that was of course 10 years ago. When we were kids.

He moved from Dallas, TX to a place I didn't know. He didn't even really tell me, because he didn't know where it was.

After about 3 years of missing Zack, I started to forget about him, not on purpose of course. But I did start to catch feelings for him when were kids, I never got the chance to tell him though. I regret it. Cuz one day I came home and after that we never really talked again.

My mom found out about him then, and she figured I was depressed about it so she made me go to therapy. I was the girl who had fake internet friends and went to therapy. Wow. My life as an 8 year old couldn't have gotten worse.

I was ugly back then too, I had braces, acne, I was a little chubby too, but I was a little developed in the chest area, so I guess that was somewhat a perk.

When I turned 13 I think I finally started to move on from Zack and start being more social. I went to 8th grade at a new school that wasn't the same as my 7th grade school. We didn't have to wear uniforms, we had free dress at this new middle school. I mean I liked it.

After moving to this new middle school I met my besties Evan O'Niel and Riley Harrison. We were the unbreakable team. The 3 Musketeers! We did everything together, and I could open up to them about anything.

Now let's fast forward to present day.

-Monday 6:27am-

Evan: Hey are you almost here?

Audrey: Yea, had to pick up Riley remember?

Evan: Oh yea, how far are you?

Audrey: Pulling up right now.

-Audrey pulls up and Evan gets in the back seat-

"Heyyy!" Evan says. "Hey Evan, you seem happy?" Audrey says back. "Yes of course, it's the first day of Senior year, that means this will be our last year at this stupid school" Evan says taking a sip from this coffee cup. "Yea, your forgetting about College though." Riley says while laughing. "Oh shush." Evan says.

Audrey:
I didn't want to talk much.. because today marks 10 years ago that Zack left. I remembered him, I just didn't have the same feelings for him. I sort of hated him.

10 years ago today, he left.
