Jade and Cat were hanging out at Tori's house and Tori was trying to keep her cool, but she found it hard.
"I'm sorry for asking so many questions, but I still can't believe that I am hanging out with Jade and Cat! The best pop duo ever! The Black Sunshine!" Tori gushed.
They just chuckled.
"It's okay." Cat chuckled again.
Jade rolled her eyes. "Yeah, whatever, it's fine. And no James and I are not dating right now. We, uh, broke up. It's just not in the magazines yet."
Tori let a small smile take over her face. "Oh, uh, that sucks. He is really cute. Sorry." She blushed. "Like insanely cute, and Kendall. Sorry."
Jade just scoffed. "It's fine, and yeah, Kendall is a great guy too, but he is all about Jo. He's so in love with her." Jade laughed. "It's adorable." She sighed. "Must be nice to fall in love with someone and be able to be with them. I mean Jo and Kendall broke up once because of the distance thing, but they got back together."
Tori smiled. "Wow, I love Kendall and Jo, they are so great together."
"Yeah." Cat smiled brightly.
"It seems like Hollywood couples never last, but Kendall and Jo are amazing." Tori gushed again.
Cat sighed. "Yeah. Well Hollywood isn't really the best place for love to bloom. Plus fame and fortune puts a huge strain on relationships."
Jade nodded. "Yeah, seems like the best way to find love is with someone who isn't even famous, like when Kendall found Jo at the resort."
The door opened without a knock. Jade turned just in time to see Beck walk in the door. She smiled.
Beck smiled at Jade and plopped down on the couch beside her. He casually draped his arm over the couch, slightly behind her. "Hey Lucy." Beck gave Jade a wink.
Cat's head snapped over to them.
Jade grimaced and leaned over to Beck. "Remember when I said no one is supposed to know our real names? Yeah, that includes you, but I told you anyway. Now Cat knows you know."
"Really? He just called you Lucy! Are you fricking kidding me?!" Cat yelled standing up and storming away.
Jade jumped up off the couch. "Char!" Jade chased after Cat, but Cat spun to face her. "Oh, uh, Char I didn't mean-"
"You told him who we are?"
"No!" Jade snapped. "I didn't tell him who we are! I just told him my name and by accident I told him yours too!"
"Why?! Why would you tell him that we use stage names?! Why would you tell him our real names?! Did you tell him our last names too?! Are they gonna find us?!" Cat freaked out.
Jade grabbed her arms. "No! Char, calm down! I didn't tell him anything I just told him my name because I- I like him!" She yelled out loud.
Cat sighed and shook her head. "I told you not to like him. You can't."
"I know!" Jade yelled. "But it's hard! I've never met anyone like him before and-" Jade turned to Beck, but he wasn't looking at her. "-and if we didn't have to go back I would stay here with him." Jade admitted.
Cat frowned. "But we have to go back. We signed a contract and they know."
Jade sighed and nodded. "I know."
"I'm sorry, Luce."
"It's okay, Chare Bear."
Cat wrapped her arms around Jade.
"Uh, hate to interrupt, but Lucy? Char? Stage names?" Tori asked.
Cat sighed. "Yeah. I'm Charlotte and she's Lucy, but our stage names are Cat and Jade." She frowned.
"Wow. No magazine ever said that."
"It's kept out of the magazines." Beck stated. "Part of their contract."
Cat huffed. "Which is why we have to go back! They'll print our real names and- and the story! They'll tell the whole world who we really are!"
Jade sighed. "I know. I know we have to go back. I know we are under contract. I know they'll expose us." She looked back at Beck and frowned.
"Jade, we can't stay." Cat pouted. "A part of me wants to stay too, but we can't. This has been the most fun I've had in years and I know you like him, but we just can't stay." She sighed.
Jade bit her lip. "I kissed him, Cat. I'm sorry. I know- I know I shouldn't have, but I did. I finally got my first real kiss. Completely unstaged. It was probably the greatest moment of my life and I know I can't do it again, but I want- I want to more than anything!"
Cat shook her head and crossed her arms. "I told you not to fall for him."
Beck stood up, but Tori pulled him back down. He moved his arm away from her and stood up again. He walked over and stood between them.
"Beck, I-"
"Goodbye Jade. I'll take you guys back to Hollywood tonight. It's alright."
"N-No." Jade gasped out.
"Jadey, we have to go back. The sooner the better. Before they print our real names." Cat explained to her.
Jade ignored her best friend and stared into Beck's eyes. "Bye. I'll miss you, Beckett." She leaned forward, but she only kissed his cheek. If she kissed his lips again it would be too hard to leave and she knew she had to leave.
"I'll miss you too, Lucy." Beck took a step closer and took her face in his hands. He knew he couldn't kiss her lips, but he had to show her how he felt about her, so he pressed his lips her forehead for a sweet goodbye kiss.
