Hannah
It's a month later and in two weeks we find out the gender of the baby. Caleb has been sending me baby names all morning and it's only 7 AM. We told our families and a few friends that we trust. Other than that we want to keep it a secret as long as we can. I've started showing a little bit but it's small enough to cover with slightly baggy clothes.
"Hannah! CJ is here!" Hayden yells up a few seconds before my bedroom door is flung open. Caleb has been driving me to school everyday now.
"Are you coming to my game tonight?" He looks excited. It's the schools first football game of the year and he has been talking about it nonstop for a week now. Between the baby and football he never shuts up.
"Of course. You and Hayden are both playing." I roll my eyes and get out of bed.
"You look so cute with a little baby bump." He reaches out and places his hand on my small stomach.
"Shut up I just look like I'm getting fat." I glare at him.
"Well I think you look adorable." He kisses my forehead.
"Come on before we're late." I grab my bag off the floor and stuff my phone into the back pocket of my jeans. Since it's a football game tonight, like every Friday night, I'm wearing a maroon hoodie since our school colors are maroon and white.
Once we get to school, Emily and her girlfriend are sitting outside the school waiting for us like they do every morning.
"Are you guys coming tonight?" Caleb asks once we get over to them.
"Well considering Jess is a cheerleader, yeah we're going." Emily laughs.
"Oh yeah, I forgot about that." Caleb chuckles.
"You're so dumb sometimes." Jess playfully punches his arm.
"So, two more weeks. Are you guys excited?" Emily comes over to my side and wraps her arm around mine.
"We can't wait. CJ has been talking about how much he hopes it's a girl all the time." I look at my goofy boyfriend, who is messing with Jess.
"What do you want it to be?" She asks me.
"Hmm, I want a girl too I guess. I never really thought about it." I shrug.
"I hope it's a boy. They're way more fun." She smiles at me.
"Yo Jones!" A guys voice calls from behind us. I hear fast footsteps and then one of his friends stops next to him.
"Hey dude whats up?" They do the bro handshake thing.
"Have you seen Jenkins?" The guy, Connor I think it is, ask him.
"Yeah, I was with him earlier, why?" Caleb looks skeptical.
"I heard his sister got knocked up by someone on the team." He clearly didn't see me. It's not like he wouldn't recognize me, I have the same face and Hayden.
"So what if she is?" Caleb starts to get defensive.
"You know who it was?" He doesn't notice CJ getting mad.
"Come on guys. We're going to be late." Jess tries to push us all at the same time.
"Yeah, come on Hannah." Caleb puts emphasis on my name and grabs my hand. Connors face drops.
"Dude, I didn't know it was you. Is it true?" His eyes go wide.
"Fuck off." I roll my eyes at him.
"It is." He chuckles.
"If you say a word to anyone I swear I'll kill you." Caleb drops my hand and walks over to him.
"I won't, damn chill out." He holds his hands up.
"Who'd you hear it from?" Caleb gets closer to him.
"Jack Chester." He looks intimidated.
"If I find out you told anyone you're done." Caleb walks away, grabbing my hand on the way back to the building.
"I'm going to go to something. I'll find you later." He looks down at me once we get inside.
"What are you doing?" I feel him let go of my hand.
"Nothing, I'll see you at lunch. I love you." He kisses my forehead and then walks away.
"He's gonna go fuck Jack up." Em says as we all watch him walk away.
"Nah, he wouldn't do that." Jess shakes her head.
"He would do anything for Hannah." They both look at me.
"Not just me." I place my hand on my stomach.
At lunch
Me, Em, Jess, and Hayden are sitting at our lunch table when Caleb walks over and sits next to me, not looking too happy.
"What's wrong?" I reach for his hand, he pulls it away from me.
"Nothing." He leans back in his chair.
"Caleb." I turn in mine to look at him. I notice he has a small bruise forming under his eye and his lip is cut.
"What did you do?" I reach up and run my thumb over bruise gently.
"Nothing. Just stop." He flinches away.
"Dude just tell her. She won't get mad." Hayden states.
"You know what happened?" I look over at my brother.
"He got into a fight with Chester." Hayden rolls his eyes.
"Because.." I trail off and look at Caleb.
"Yeah."
