Chapter 1

"Maa..." I heard him. Did he got hurt? "Maa..." Is he in pain? Are his wounds healing well?

I am searching for you, but why can't I find you anywhere. "Kairav..." Was it a whisper? Is my voice audible enough? I am trying to shout but I am not able to. "Kairav..." I am tired. "Kai..." I tried again, but I am losing my breath. "Ka..." I want to talk. Baby can you hear me? Where are you? Did you call for me? It's too silent here, but it's hurting my ears. "Kai..." Am I out of breath? I'm trying to inhale but, I can't.

I can hear him. Is he around? But I can't see him. It's too dark. I might sleep for a while, but, I..., My baby,...."Kk....." I tried again.

It is a chaos. People running, papers flying. Shrieks, bells and yells. Complete Chaos. It's Emergency Center of the hospital. No one should ever go through the high wreck of situation in an emergency centre. It's havoc. It's scary. But it's reality.

It's scary for everyone but that lady lying down on the stretcher, unconscious and unattended. Is she alone? She was brought here few minutes ago, carried by ward boys, from the ambulance to this bed. She came here, followed by an accidental case and the group of wailing relatives, maybe.

The accidental case was taken in by few doctors and rushed somewhere inside but this lady was like forgotten case, unconscious and unattended. Was she sleeping? She didn't look hurt or in pain. Wait. Is she alive? Yes, she seems to be breathing. Seems.

This whole place is scarier than a haunted house. This girl in stretcher was being taken by a doctor accompanied by nurse, with an old lady, overly calmed, just on the surface probably. I can see her, chanting, some prayer, it seems. She probably is the mother of the girl in stretcher.

"Time of death..." The doctor continued. The man laid there. Lifeless. Surrounded by doctors and nurses, dejected.

Casualties everywhere. The conscious patient in pain, the unconscious patient, and their families and friends. It's heartbreaking.

But what happened to that unconscious lone lady?

The nurse came running, with some medical equipment I have no idea about, and then came another set of running doctors towards that lady. Though she was brought by an ambulance, why was she unattended earlier. Was it a shortage of doctors before? Or was her case less urgent. It doesn't seems so. "SHE IS SINKING", they shout. And, She is rushed.

She was heaving. She had no luggage to heave like hell, she was trying to survive. She didn't want to leave the world yet.

Her body was giving up but her mind was not ready to.

The doctors tried their best. The lady who was just brought in, survived an attack. Heartattack.
