Taehyung's POV

We've been living together for about two months now.

It's the middle of summer break, and we usually just chill and get ice cream. Occasionally we go to the beach, but that's about it.

I was sitting on my bed reading a book when Jungkook burst into the room.

I screamed, throwing the book up into the air.

Me- "Yah! You scared the shit outta me!"

Jungkook burst out laughing while I sat there with a pout.

Jungkook- "Wellll, do you want to go out and eat dinner? There's a restaurant that just opened and I thought we could check it out."

Me- "S-sure. But I was trying to finish a chapter before you interrupted me. Hmph."

I got up and pushed him out the door, causing him to laugh.

Me- "We'll leave when I'm done."

Jungkook- "Aye aye captain."

I closed the door, smiling to myself.

When I finished the chapter of my book, I took a shower.

Then I wore a black v-neck shirt tucked into leather pants. Over the shirt I wore a blue velvety blazer.

 I walked out of my room to find Jungkook playing video games.

When I walked in, he turned his head to me, staring.

I blushed, looking down.

Me- "Hurry up and get ready."

At my words he saluted and left.

I rolled my eyes and grabbed a cookie nearby, munching on it.

Just as I had finished my third cookie, Jungkook came down. He was wearing a silky blue shirt tucked into tight jeans with a different blue hue.

My breath escaped my lungs as I stood there, staring at him and thinking about how good he looked.

I looked down, quickly turning away. I could feel him smirking.

I decided to not make it seem so obvious that my face was bright red, and I offered him a cookie.

Me- "Cookie Kook?"

I laughed, realizing the names sound similar.

Wait.. 

Kook + cookie= Kookie!

Me- "I'm gonna call you Kookie from now on."
I said this as I lifted up a cookie.

He smiled, blushing a little.

Jungkook- "Well then I get to call you by a nickname."

He glanced around the living room, eyes landing on my teddy bear from when I was little.

Jungkook- "Got it! Taebear!"

Me- "Ooh, I like it."
I smiled, also blushing a little by my new nickname.

Jungkook- "Anyways, are you ready to go now?"

I nodded, heading to the front door to put on some shoes. Jungkook did the same, and then we left for the restaurant.

When we got there, the place was busy. Waiters were running around, people coming and going.

We hurried in so that we could get a table.

A woman was standing behind a counter, greeting people.

Woman- "Why hello! Table for two?"

Jungkook- "Yes. You can put it under the name Jungkook, please."
