(NEXT DAY)

Jungkook's POV

I woke up, instantly remembering my time with Tae yesterday.

A smile appeared on my face as I thought of him.

I turned to the side, eyeing Jeni who was still sleeping. She was out with her friends for almost the whole day yesterday.

She arrived home a little after I came back from dropping Tae.

I nudged her shoulder, earning a groan from her.

Jeni opened her eyes slowly, then sat up, rubbing them.

I sighed in content before pushing the blankets off of me and getting out.

Then I padded out the hall and into the kitchen, yawning on the way there.

I dumped some cereal into a bowl, then poured in the creamy white milk.

I grabbed a spoon and scarfed it all down.

By the time I was done, Jeni strolled into the kitchen, dressed.

I rushed back into our bedroom before we could exchange words.

There, I pulled on a shirt and jeans, then quickly brushed my teeth. Before I knew it, we were headed to school.

Why didn't I talk to her this whole morning?

Well, I don't know. Or maybe I do. It's complicated.

Jeni was on her phone the whole drive, and I didn't know what to say.

Once at school, I went to my locker as usual, putting my backpack away.

As I turned around to leave, Taehyung walked up to me with a bag in his hands.

Me- "Hey Tae, what's that?"

He smiled, handing me the bag.

Taehyung- "It's your swimming shorts you lent me yesterday. I thought I could give it to you now."

Me- "Oh, anytime. Thanks!"

I took the bag and stuffed it in my locker. As I did so, Taehyung went through his locker.

I waited at my locker for him to finish, so we could walk to our classes together.

Soon he turned back to me, smiling. A little pink hue appeared on his cheeks, and some of that spread to mine.

I looked down, gripping my binder.

Taehyung- "C'mon, let's go to class now."

I nodded my head in agreement, walking alongside him to his homeroom.

Taehyung- "Well, looks like this is my stop. Bye!"

He waved, showing off his beautiful boxy smile.

I grinned, flashing my bunny teeth, saying bye.

Then I went to class with the grin still stuck on my face.

TIME SKIP --> LUNCH

Lunch.

When we eat in the busiest and loudest place in school.

I walked out of the lunch line with a light grip on my tray.

As I went over to my usual table, I spotted Jeni walking in.

But, she was talking with someone. Some guy.
