Annoyed grumbles turned away from the strong vibration and loud tone of her alarm. It's too early for this, but she has to get out of bed to get ready for a new week of school. The thought of dropping out jumped into her mind, before those were disrupted by the puffed up heaviness in her eyelids.
That's right...the panic attack...Can that be a good enough reason to not go to school today?
Burying her face into the nearest pillow, she smelt the sleepy aroma...Aizawa. With that she rolled around, but he was nowhere in sight. Her stomach ached. If it's the creeping loneliness or hunger, she doesn't know. At least he stayed when she needed someone the most...
She shook her head, grasping at the migraine she surely knew too well before reaching for her phone blindly, but the touch and sound of a piece of paper stroke over her fingers. A blue sticky note was attached to it. The sound of the clean surface of the phone and the glued side of the paper satisfyingly ripped apart, sending shivers down her spine.
'Go to school with your usual enthusiasm! I'll be waiting in the barn! ~Aizawa'
...
Her cheeks darkened as the blood rushed to her face. Frozen in place, she stared at the blue paper,"C...couldn't he just have texted me?"This gesture was very romantic in her opinion, but he obviously doesn't mean it that way. The way he phrased it seemed like a secret meet for forbidden lovers and the additional twirling swirl in front of his name seemed way too sweet. All that would be missing to this scenery is a satin nightgown draping over her body.
She got ready in about a few minutes, enough time to get some breakfast...and make coffee...as a thank you for Aizawa. Her sister wasn't awake yet and her father sat outside smoking so it's the perfect time to fill a hydroflasc with black coffee without being suspicious. Black coffee was too bitter for her taste and her parents know that.
As soon as the hot coffee was closed off in a hydroflask, the bottle was shoved into her bag before her father stepped into the kitchen.
"Morn'!", she zipped her bag, avoiding her father's gaze.
He greeted her back before sniffing the air, a mix of confused expressions dancing on his face, "Did you make coffee?"
"Well...uh...yea...Mixed with a lot of sugar and water...I mean milk...Cause I didn't sleep well soooo....t'yep!", after her keys disappeared into her bag, she swung it over her shoulder.
She has to get out of the house in about five minutes if she wants to get the bus. Five minutes to deliver the coffee. She bid her adieus, her father yet confused why she's going so early but didn't question further before she speed walked over to the barn.
"Hey, Aizawa?!", her voice sounded a bit smoky as she tried to yell in a whisper, "You awake?"
There was no answer but the rustling of a sleeping bag. He is still asleep since he stayed up longer than originally planned, so she hid the hydro flask underneath the latter. After she switched the flask with a water bottle in her bag and made her way out of the house, the phone next to him vibrated.
'I hid coffee behind the latter, hope it's still warm when you find it!' ~(username)
What she didn't know was that he actually was awake, just too lazy and annoyed to talk so early in the morning. He didn't bother to look at the phone until the father left with his youngest to get her to school. When he saw the message, he scoffed, turning in the warm sleepingbag before zipping it down to crawl to the hidden ladder.
He knew that the canister was downstairs because he didn't hear her climb up or throw it over. It didn't take him a second to find it, but he stopped in his tracks as he saw a familiar looking sticky note poking from behind. With a lost mind he grabbed it and turned the flask.
