"What's going on with you today?", her best friend exclaimed.
She was exhausted and her head continued pounding in the back. All she did was complain the whole day or sulk into her hoodie she's sweating into. Not only did friday night's event bother her, but also the beaming sun.
And when her friend complains back, it makes her feel worse. She clearly doesn't know how to express herself as she had seen on friday, so to not be able to explain her reasons while others drown out her time to speak is really irritating and exhausting.
"Being emotional is so irrational! I never understand how someone can be this way."
"No it's not...to cry it out is actually good for your system", (Y/n) burried her face above her chest and her folded arms, "People who can't cry are just too weak to feel emotions..."
She knew her choice of words were wrong yet again, especially by the way her friend reacted, "I'm emotionally strong enough for not letting some stupid shit get me so worked up and crying."
"Stop acting like you're sooo better because you can't feel emotions!", (Y/n) almost bit her tongue as she hissed, trying to explain that how she's acting is not helpful. And thus she burried her face into the papers in front of her.
"What are you talking about? I don't see myself better than anyone!", her friend mumbled, but (Y/n) had no energy to respond.
Every inch of her nervous system felt clogged. The pebbles he walked upon as he went stuck in her veins and chest. It took her about ten minutes for her to admit that she also didn't had the best intentions in her choice of words, but to apologize won't be enough.
"Hit me!"
The sulking girl had moved her whole body to turn over to her best friend, "Hit me as hard as you can!"
Her friend snickered with disbelief, muttering a what the fuck under her breath, "I won't!"
"Hit me! Now I'm giving you permission!"
"I never hit you!", her words hid fear of being called an abusive friend.
"Yes you do!", (Y/n) imitated her friend as she smacked her thigh, "Just like this!"
"I mean it in a playful way..."
"Then go ahead! I give you permission! Smack me!", and so her friends fist hit her thigh...in a silent pat, "Harder!"
"Daddy!"
They started laughing before her friend could react again, "Son?"
Their laughing fit died down as the class turned quiet again,"Okay...now hit me!"
"Why do you want me to hit you so bad?", her friend furrowed her brows as she exclaimed.
"Because I'm...", (Y/n) crooked her fingers to show her rage, "I'm so mad and need to get rid of this rage! If you hit me hard enough, my anger has something else to focus on!"
Her friend comically stroke her chin, "Hmmm...Who do you hate most?...", after a while of pondering, "You don't really have a teacher you hate right?"
"No...not really...well...there's that one bitch who's in pension now...", her friend nodded, remembering their last math teacher who made their school year into the definition of hell, "Did you know that I was close to blowing up her garden?"
"What? Really?", (BFF/n) looked at her friend with disbelief with a pinch of excitement of an adventurous story.
"Yeah!", (Y/n) laughed out, "But I felt a bit...guilty."
