Chapter 2: Mysterious

"CHONGIWAAAAAAA"

Jaemin grumbled and dragged himself across the room to switch off his alarm.

"CHONGI-"

He switched it off before Chanyeol had a change to finish. It was definitely worth it in Jaemins opinion to make Chanyeol singing Chongiwa on loop as his alarm. It always woke him right up.

Now that he was awake he remembered why he chose to set his alarm so early.

"Oh right I have to meet Chenle to welcome the Bitter students." He grumbled to himself before going to wash up and get ready for school.

Right before leaving, he made sure to leave his parents a note explaining why he wouldn't be around when they woke up two hours later.

The sun was just starting to rise as Jaemin made his way out towards his school. the morning air was crisp and cool which made Jaemin feel calm.

The quiet did not last long however. Soon a high pitched dolphin squeal could be heard once a certain green haired boy could see his friend.

"Jaemin hyung!" Chenle shouted as he ran up to the older, "Thank you again for coming out here, I just feel so much better now that you're here." He said.

Jaemin smiled and ruffled the younger's cabbage locks, "Anything for my dolphin baby." He snickered when he saw Chenle pout at the nickname.

Just then a teacher appeared and Jaemin could see the rest of the welcoming committee getting in line as a bus came into view just at the top of Sugar Rush hill. It was clear who was inside it.

"Chenle!"

Teacher Kun appeared behind Chenle, "Get in line with the others, the bus is almost here."

"Of course ge."(idk why Chenle would know Chinese in a world where they all speak the same language but it felt wrong writing 'hyung' here so that's what it is)

Chenle and Kun fist bumped before Chenle walked over to stand in line. Kun may be a little reserved and may be a teacher but he was one of the most liked teachers in the whole school. He and Chenle were practically brothers. (I'm giving Kun the respect he doesn't get in real life in this story bc that's what he deserves #savekun)

"Ah mister Na, glad to see you're here so early. However school will not start for another two hours. You can go wait at those benches while we finish our tours with the transfers, thank you." Kun said before hurrying off to join the students as the bus pulled in.

Jaemin went to go sit by the benches Kun had pointed to and started to pull out his leftover homework but was distracted when he saw the doors to the bus open and the students started to pile out. Chenle immediately identified his partner and seem to click with him right away. Jaemin was glad that Chenle didn't seem as nervous as he did the night before. He seemed to already be best buddies with his partner as they had now linked arms and were walking towards the school together. Chenle's partner from where Jaemin could see was taller then Chenle but very skinny, he had a feeling he would be seeing more of that guy later.

Jaemin was about to turn to his work when a certain raven haired male stepped off the bus and caught his eye. He swore that was the most beautiful man he had ever seen. He was about the same height as Jaemin would be but be seemed much more built. He had light skin and a sharp defined jawline. His gaze was intense and his partner seemed intimidated to even stand two feet away from him. He didn't seem to mind as he just stood there and let his powerful gaze travel across the school grounds. Eventually his eyes landed on Jaemin and for a second they locked eyes. Jaemin felt heat rising up to his cheeks just by staring right into his eyes even with the distance between them, but he could not look away.
