Tsuna in the past

Chapter 6

"He has a fever. I found him in the forest terrified and lost. You're lucky I am not someone who wants to attack him. How could you let Tsuna alone? He could have gotten killed."

It wasn't completely the truth as for him he felt more like a friend and he wasn't sure how Tsuna felt about him. Right now this wasn't something he should think about after all the person he has a crush on was sick. What he still couldn't get how he and Tsuna turned into kids. It would make everything so much complicated. He wished he would have found Tsuna faster. He breathed out and looking worriedly to the boy. The last part was said in a stern voice as he knew that Tsuna was in danger. The person blinked a few times and he could tell what he was thinking just from his expression alone.

"Ho-?"

"I heard some people talk about my friend. Do you know how much in danger he now is? You can't let him alone for christ sake!"

Giotto was gaping now and finally understood why he was angry at the adult. It made sense now to him. His expression changed into a serious one.

"Alright, then we better hurry inside. I don't want Tsu-chan to get more sick. So tell me who are you? And what had happened? He had way too many scars for just a ten-year-old kid."


The kid paused and had a grim expression. He took Tsuna out of the arms of the unknown kid. At first, he could see that the kid wasn't wanting to let go, but he could probably tell from Giotto's expression that he wouldn't let him continue carrying Tsuna.


"It's better we talk inside where no one can disrupt us. And promise me you won't tell Tsuna. He doesn't need to know at least for now. As for my name call me Renato."

Giotto could tell that this kid wasn't just a kid, he knew way too much. And from his talking, he seemed more like an adult. His HI agreed with him so now he was more curious yet worried. Something told him that this was a huge deal and his HI wasn't really telling much. Sometimes he wished he had a stronger one. Oh well, he will hear later on what this was about.

"Alright, I agree with you and it's better we hurry. He has a high fever right now."

He could feel that Renato had high sun flames, but he guessed that he couldn't use it as his body was too weak for a small body like that. The sun flames are so much stronger than Knuckle's one and that made him curious yet worried. Having that strong sun flames would take a toll for a small body like that. They still are more than a kid should have, but still not as much as an adult has. So it was making pondering what these kids have gone through.


For now, he pushed these thoughts away as they made their way to the vongola mansion. Around 5 minutes later they arrived with his guardians looking at him with questioning eyes towards the new kid right next to him. He gave them a look that told him "will explain later." They accept that for now as Knuckle instantly took the now fast breathing Tsuna out of his arms. No words were said between the two as it wasn't necessary. He saw how Tsuna looked like and knew that he was not alright. After all the kid had flushed cheeks, his breathing was fast yet rigid and he seemed in pain.


"Let's go to my office, Renato. Oh and G?"

The mentioned male straightened up waiting for Giotto's order.

"Yes, Giotto?"

"Stay with Tsu-chan. He is in danger will explain to you later. The others are dismissed will call you all when I have more information."

With this, he walked towards the office with Renato right next to him. Both of them stayed quiet none talked.  A few minutes later they arrived, opening the door, letting than Renato in the room, closing it behind him and locking the door. He walked up to his desk, sitting than on the chair.


"You can sit on the chair in front of me."

Renato made his way up to the chair sitting on it and straightening himself. Giotto raised his eyebrow at this. It was unusual for a kid to do this, but he guessed that all would be explained soon by Renato. So he straightened himself as well waiting for the kid to begin to talk.

Reborn was silent for a while trying to figuring out where he should start. There was so much he had to tell Giotto, but he wasn't sure what he should tell and what not. 

"First of all Tsuna and I aren't children, we are adults. We come from the future, exactly 400 years ahead. I won't tell you what happened in your time, too dangerous as it could change everything."

He paused as grimily remembered what had happened in the future. Tsuna and himself had no chance of coming back into to future. They were stuck and that was clear to him. Giotto of his time told Reborn that this was the only thing that could have rescued Tsuna from getting killed. His flames wouldn't have been enough and he was on the brink of dying. What he hadn't known that time yet was that Tsuna and himself were turned into kids. It seemed like that would be their life from now on. All he knew that this was a parallel kind of universe and not really their past. But from what Giotto told him that this was 400 years in the past.

//I can't believe that Giotto lied to me about that one. This is something he should have told me. Now I am a kid again and I hate being a kid. It makes me remember too much at the time I was in that infant body...//

"And we kind of are from a different universe. Similar to yours, but at the same time its not. We never can come back. What else I can tell you is that Tsuna lost all his guardians one by one. They were killed and he would have almost died as well."


The person in front of him paused and folded his hands together. He was sure that Giotto knew from that Hyper intuition that he was telling the truth. Who knows maybe in this past it won't be the same. The silence grew for a few more seconds until the latter let out a sigh.


"Seems like you were in war weren't you? From the scars on his body, I could see that this weren't just scars what a kid should have. It explains many things, so what do you plan on doing now?"


That was a good question which he wasn't sure how to answer. Until Tsuna doesn't have his memory he couldn't really know what to do, but one thing was clear to him. He wouldn't let others injure him. Whoever would try to hurt his crush would go through hell and that one was sure for him.


"I can't use my flames right now so I need to get a stronger body and one more thing I will protect Tsuna with my life I love him way too much."


His eyes showed how much he told the truth and the smirk he wore was making the other shiver. Which led to him having a bigger smirk now. 

"I can see that and trust me I won't let anyone hurt my cute little figlio."

His eyebrow raised as hearing Giotto call Tsuna figlio. It seemed like he missed some stuff, which he will get out of Tsuna. But that could wait as he was sure Tsuna will need rest.
