Tsuna in the past

Chapter 3

So here he was now in front of the infirmity worried about many things. He wasn't sure what he should talk about with this kid, nor was he convinced that he would do great.

"Don't worry; you will do great to the extreme!"

A sigh escaped out of his mouth, as he now opened the door. The first thing he saw was that the kid had some bandages. The child had his eyes outside, the brown eyes which he had dulled. The expression calm, yet the boy had a frown on his face. His inner flame was in turmoil, just seeing the kid like this.

"Hello."

His voice was soft, trying not to startle the boy. The boy turned, his voice eyes once dulled, were now less dull. This made him blink.

"Papa."

He gaped at the kid, why was he saying papa to him? Knuckle, chuckled in amusement, which made him glare at the latter which chuckled.

"Why are you calling me papa?"

The child tilted his head, and was silent for a bit, probably thinking about the question.

"Be-because you lo-look similar to me."

The answer said in a soft and stuttery manner, cheeks a slight pink shade, and the kid's hand folded together. He walked up to the child, giving him a sweet smile, sitting right next to bed now.

Knuckles left the room, closing it. The reason was probably to let them have a private conversation.

"So do you have a name?"

"Tsunayoshi, that's all I remember sadly."

A relieved sigh escaped out of Giotto's mouth, at least that was remembered.

"That's fine; at least you remember you're a name."

Tsunayoshi's face lit up, hearing this. That made him chuckle; god is this child precious. Giotto was sure that soon, he would everyone would want to protect this child. One thing he promised himself that he would defend Tsuna with his life.

"Thanks, um I-I was wondering...do you know me?"

Sadly, he didn't know the child, but that wasn't mattering to him.

"Sadly no, but this doesn't matter, my HI told me that you're someone important so you can stay with me."

A soft giggle heard from the child, on his lips was now shown a huge bright smile.

What he hadn't expected was when the kid tackled him into a hug. It came unexpectedly; his flames felt in content which hasn't happened often. What was with this kid, that made his flames react so badly?

He hugged the child back, not too hard after all Tsuna was still injured. He was now wondering, could he walk around? The door opened, once more as he felt sun flames.

"Knuckle perfect timing; I was wondering would it be fine, that I could show the kid the mansion?"

"I approve, his injuries are almost healed. Just be careful, to the extreme."

He nods, looking than down to Tsuna, which the kid done as well. The eyes still dull, but not that dull anymore. He hoped he could give these eyes back their former life. Giotto felt the sky flames in the child. The flames weren't calm. They were in turmoil; it was like the sky flames searching for something. He could feel the pain of the kid, comming from the flames. It made his heart stung feeling this. One question still stayed: what had happened to make Tsuna like this?

"Yay, I finally can look around. Oh, and papa please don't feel sad, I am fine."

His eyes widen, as Giotto heard the last part.

"How do you know?"

The child giggled as on his lips now was a grin seen.

"You're easy to read."

Mouth wide open, looking straight at the grinning kid. He shook his head. A sigh escaped out of his mouth.

"Alright, I will try not to be sad."

He let go out of the hug and putting the kid down. After this, he ruffled through the brown fluffy spiked hair. Tsuna giggled softly at this. The kid took his hand and pulled him with Tsuna.

"Let's go, Papa."

The kid's voice sounded enthusiastic. Giotto was glad that the kid felt better, maybe he really can help him. So far, he seemed alright, but the worry stayed.

As they walked through the mansion, many maids and butlers stopped their activities and awwed at them. The sight was too cute; the kid has a massive smile on his lips. The adult who held his hand had an amused expression.

Giotto was relaxed now, seeing the kid being that hyper and happy. At least the child wasn't looking like before. Still, he was wondering what had happened which made him like this. 

Soon it began to be evening, and now everyone was in the dining room. It was much quieter than usual, maybe having that kid there wasn't that bad. At least his paperwork won't get that bad. The kid was humming happily as eating. It seems like the shyness was over with the child. 

Their guardians accepted that now the kid would live with them what he hadn't expected that the kids healing was much stronger than the average person. Maybe it had to do that he has sky flames like him.

"Papa can yawn go to sleep please?"

The brown haired kid looked up at his father figure. God, is that adorable with that yawn. Tsuna will be the death of him when this continues like this.

"Alright Tuna."

Giotto hadn't intended in calling him this, but it seemed like Tsuna had for a second a distant look.

"Are you alright?"

The child snapped out of it and giving him a little smile.

"I am Papa; it's just someone had called me like this. You can call me this; I don't mind it."

That made him gape at him, has he read his mind? A soft giggle escaped out of the kid's mouth.

"Nop, it was written on your face. Can we please now go?"

Tsuna whined, which made everyone in the room sweatdropped. He gave a sigh resigning that Tsuna would read him like this.

"Alright, sorry guys. Don't do anything rash understood?"

His guardians knew what he meant and swallowed. That meant no destruction, or they will feel their boss wrath. So both adult and kid made their way to the bedroom.

It ended that Giotto couldn't do any paperwork, as the Tsuna was clingy on him. This time he didn't mind it as he finally can relax. Both soon nodded off, not noticing that their guardians watched the interaction of them. The boy who once broke, slowly repaired. All guardians hoped that the boy would feel at home.
