The Prophecy

Prologue

                                     

                                       Chace’s POV

‘’When the Dark Daughters Rise then the Coven of Darkness shall Fall, and then the Coven of the Ingeus Cruor shall be free of any pain and danger.’’

‘’It’s the Prophecy Chase and we need to protect them we need to not let them hurt any of them and you know it.’’ 

 I cursed under my breath and gaze at Aiden

‘’I know.’’  I hissed. I didn’t give a d*mn about the Prophecy because I simply didn’t believe it. Dark Daughters or not those girls were nothing but weak humans and prey for my kind. And now I was forced to protect them because some dude decided to write a d*mn Prophecy about them being the Dark Daughters of Queen Cordelia.

‘’Just do it for me ok? Cordelia has a reason to choose us Chase. She trust us and I know that even if you don’t believe the Prophecy you respect Cordelia and you want to help her. Otherwise you wouldn’t accept the mission.’’  I turned my eyes to the ground. He was right but I couldn’t be glad about it just like he was. He believed in the Prophecy unlike me.

‘’I said I’ll do it and I’ll do it Aiden. But when they do find out the truth don’t expect me to be there for them like a friend, or something like that. I’m not gonna do that.’’ 

 I warned him. He let out a long breath obviously being tired of me telling him how much I hated this.

‘’Okay Chase okay. Can we go now? Tomorrow we finally gonna see them.’’  He told me trying to hide a smile.

‘’Yeah.. woohoo.’’  I mused and closed the door shut behind me. I start walking through the heavy rain with Aiden by my side on our way to save the world. Or save the twins that were gonna save the world. Did I mention how much I hated this Prophecy and this mission? Yeah… Sometimes being immortal can prove to be hard.

                                     ANABELL’S POV

 The dream began the same as usual and I already knew how it would end. With me being dead. That’s how my nightmares always used to end. This time I was in a beautiful meadow in the lap of my green-eye boy. He pressed a kiss on my forehead his full kissable lips soft as always. 

‘’Your dress is beautiful.’’ He told me with a half smile forming on his lips. I looked down to see what I was wearing as I had no idea. It was a red long dress forming a V on my breast tight to my waist and it was opening from there and down. It’s sleeves were also long and there were falling from my  wrist. I realized it was also made of silk. His hand stroke gently my leg and start moving to my thigh.

‘’Thanks.’’  I muttered feeling heat raising to my cheeks. He then took my face in his hands and his green like gem eyes met mine. His dark hair were falling to his green eyes –inhuman eyes- I have never seen eyes like that. So deep and vivid. They were covered by thick lashes as he half closed them. He leaned closer to me and his lips brushed mine. He was gonna kiss me! I thought but then he stopped. He stare at something behind me and within seconds he got up and I followed his example without hesitation. The sky suddenly got darker as the clouds cover the sun and wind hit my face. And suddenly he was here, only a few steps away from us. As always he was covered by shadows and I couldn’t make out his characteristic. The only thing I knew about him it was that for some reason he always… well.. he always killed me. I turned to my green-eye boy but he had already vanished. Just like that. I tried to call his name but my voice was stuck on my throat and what a came out was a soft whisper. Instead he stepped forward and only stopped in front of me. Then and only them I saw his eyes. Or I thought I saw them, what I actually saw was a glimpse of gold before his hand reached my shoulder and pushed my back. Next thing I knew I was falling in the shadows without nothing to hold on to. 

                                        ISABELL’S POV

 It had happened again a few nights ago and it happened again tonight. Duh I hated i. I had reached the point where I was thinking ‘’how I would die tonight’’? I had no clue where I was until my eyes  open. Seems like I was outside of a lake. I stood up and got closer to the dark lake. It was pitch dark and I couldn’t make out anything. And all of a sudden I felt a little push and I was in the lake. No no no not again. I tried to swim but something grab my leg pulling me in the water. I kicked it and tried to swim back to the surface but I couldn’t… I was drowning.

 I woke up coughing water out of my mouth both my clothes and  my blonde hair were soaked wet, sticking on my body.

‘’Izzy!’’  Annabel’s voice said and within seconds she was sitting by my side patting me on my shoulder

‘’It was just a dream, you’re okay. ‘’ She kept repeating. I managed to stop coughing and looked at her.

‘’I need to change.’’  I said and got up.

 So yes, my twin sister knew about my deathly nightmares and helped me every time it was happening just like now.
