The Prophecy

Chapter 16

 After we ate, I went back to my room and I start decorating it. I put my clothes in the closet, my make’‘up in the table below the windows, my shoes and high’‘heels also in the closet and put some photos at the side tables as Isabelle had done. I stopped at a very old one, with my mom and dad. Me and Isabelle were about five and we were on vacation. My mom  was holding my hand while I was laughing and my dad was holding Isabelle who was sticking out her tongue to me.

 A soft knock on my door make me jump and for a second I thought it might be Chace but it end up it was just Cordelia

‘‘Can I come in?’’ She asked and when I nodded she did and closed the door behind her.

‘‘Are you okay with the room?’’ She asked and sat on the edge of my bed. I couldn’t help but thing how beautiful she was. Everything was beautiful in her. I wanted to ask how old she really was, because to me she wasn’t older than 35, but I didn’t

‘‘Fine. My room is fine.’’ I replied smiling at her and she returned the smile

‘‘Did Trey show you around?’’

‘‘Yeah it’s awesome especially the play room and the library.’’ I said

‘‘You like to read?’’

‘‘Sometimes.’’

‘‘You can take whatever book you want.’’ 

‘‘Thanks’’ I said smiling. She was really generous

‘‘You met anyone?’’

‘‘Aurora. Um.. Aiden’s girlfriend?’’ She nodded

‘‘Yeah.. Trey suggested her to borrow us some clothes for the Ball but she kind of… didn’t liked the idea.’’ I said shrugging.

‘‘I will borrow you something. It should fit you. What color do you want?’’  I blinked in surprise. She wanted to borrow me one of her dresses? WOW

‘‘I was thinking… blue?’’  I said

‘‘Blue electric?’’ She suggested

‘‘One of my favorites colors!’’ I agreed

‘‘And Isabelle?’’

‘‘Hm… She’s more into white or soft pink.’’ I said

‘‘I’ll find her something too.’’ She promised 

‘‘Can I ask you something?’’

‘‘Anything.’’ She gave me an encouraging smile

‘‘Aren’t people coming here? I mean it’s the York Minister.’’  I exclaimed shaking my hand to emphasized it.

‘‘Not always. But when they do, we know thanks to our good hearing. So we hide in the attic until they leave.’’  She explained

‘‘Oh.’’

‘‘Yeah. If you don’t mind I’m gonna check on Isabelle.’’ She said already rising to her feet.

‘‘No I’ll be okay.’’ I said

‘‘It was nice talking to you.’’ She said as she walked out of the room.

 I was about to fall asleep when the door opened slowly and a head popped in. A head with brown hair and luminous pale blue eyes.

‘‘Are you sleeping?’’ He asked in a low voice
