"Dad, please?! Come on!" Vaughn followed his father while stomping his feet as he tried to convince him to get him a new car.
"Vaughn Reiss Walton, will you let it go?! I'm not getting you a car after that B- grade you got from Behavioral management! You have got to be kidding me, young man." Vince replied as he put on his navy blue coat before leaning down towards his wife whose mind is off somewhere else as she reads the newspaper.
"I'll get going, my love." He whispered after kissing her forehead and that was only when she was cut from her focus on the papers she was reading.
"Have a good day, babe." She replied looking up to him before reaching for his face to kiss his lips.
"Can you both get a room?" Vaughn grunted in annoyance before turning to his mother.
"Mom, can you please get this poor man a car before anything else?"
"Which man?" She raised an eyebrow at him making him stomp on his feet again and threw himself beside her on the sofa she was seated on.
"You call yourself a man, Vaughn, really?" Vince shook his head.
"You're acting like an 8 year old and you call yourself a man?" He taunted making Vaughn scoff and shake his mother's arms.
"Mom, you promised to get me a new car before I graduate."
"Are you sure you're even graduating?" Vince shook his head again. The children are all bright, he cannot deny that. But lately, Vaughn has been getting low grades on certain units and he isn't very pleased. Their boys are on their last sem before finishing university. While Vance is performing really well in Med school following their mother's footsteps, Vaughn is another story.
He has always been a dean's lister until he started getting into racing. The twins were both into the sports ever since they were younger but they made a deal with them that they have to finish university before turning into the sports world. They are both responsible, but Vince couldn't understand why all of a sudden, Vaughn got caught up again and lost his focus on his studies.
And now this, a 6 foot 3 young gentleman of 19 years of age is acting like a little spoiled brat beside his wife.
Vince could smack the boy's head if Gabrielle won't kill him. She's the only one allowed to lay a finger on them...not that any of them actually does—-you can say that they don't given how spoiled the boys are.
"Come on dad! It's a B-! Not even an F! It's not like I killed someone for having that grade."
"You've never had a B!" Vince argued.
"Well, that makes it fun! Finally I have a B! It's for you dad!" He chuckled not taking his father seriously that all Gabrielle can do is shake her head.
"Y-you!!!" Vince threw his attache case on the floor and readied himself to smack the boy's head until Gabrielle spoke up.
"Nobody's getting a new car here. Vaughn, if you want a car, you have to work for it."
"So are you gonna make me the new CEO now, mom? Right! The CEO is already very old anyway..." He excitedly turned to his mom again before grinning at his dad after taunting him for being old.
"You little..." Vince raised his hand to smack his son's head only to be stopped when Gabrielle did it herself.
"Ouch!!! What is that for?!" He complained petting his own head after his mother's palm landed on it.
"Thank you for that, Bella."
"Nobody talks about the CEO like that." She winked at him making their son more annoyed.
